I'm going to be starting a character tonight when I get home on ps4. I'm not really partial to any faction but would like a guild and people to play with. What faction is highly populated. Are there a decent amount of lower lvl people to play with? I'm mainly a PvE guy, love running dungeons. If you want to hit me up via PM on here or on ps4 my tag is FrumpyCube. leeux✭✭✭✭✭Not on console myself, but I thought I'd give you a suggestion.
If you don't get good responses here, I'd guess a good way to find out is to take a look at twitch streamers that play on PS4... and see how's the community there.
Maybe even post a question on their chats to gauge the situation, if you really want to know before jumping the gun.
Other than that, my other suggestion would be to create a char in each faction and level them a bit each, so you can see how goes.

✭✭✭The best way to find out the population of each faction during the times you play is to make one character in each faction.
Stick with whichever one you end up enjoying the most and turn the other two into bank mules if you don't play alts.

✭Well EP is more like casual and roleplaying type tho you got some hardcore players, but population is pretty big, AD is solid at PvP and really good in PvE, DC mostly plays PvP and they are really good there... That is my view over the factions...
