The bow downs, Roots spam.

The constant spam of making you bow, kneel downs and also rooting is serious annoying.
and high stamina cost to breakout, a quarter of your bar.
This is not balanced at all, this along with blocking their spam of charge attacks that knocks you down and is also stamina cost.

It would be more balanced if they reduced the stamina cost of breakouts.

    It is the way it is because of balance. Stamina classes have more stamina to break free and are able to block more, magicka classes are more susceptible. But, stamina classes must draw from the same resource (stamina) for their attacks.

    I'm guessing you're magicka since you say breaking free costs 1/4 of your bar. Being magicka gives you the advantage of your entire stamina bar being available for blocking, sprinting, and breaking free, while your entire magicka bar can be used for offense and utility. Stamina users must use their stamina bar for everything, and tend to have only a small amount of magicka for utility. That's where the "balance" is.

    If it were easy to break free from every stun immediately and block every attack, there would be no reason for stunning and blocking mechanics to exist. Managing your resources is a key factor of gameplay.

    There are numerous ways to decrease your stamina cost for blocking and breaking free, especially in the Champion system. Using 1-hand and shield is viable for a magicka build, and can reduce your blocking cost a ton.

    Also, if breaking free is the only problem you're having in pvp, there's a crafted set (Way of the Arena) with a 5-piece bonus which reduces the cost of break free by 40%. Even as a magicka class, having a high stamina regeneration rate is also very important for pvp. Consider drinks or set bonuses that increase your regen!

    I'm not sure if you're talking about PvP or PvE, but as a PvE player that I am, I couldn't agree more. Especially in the AD zones.. half of my playtime, my character kneels on the ground and has to use up the stamina to break free again. Was a horrortrip to complete the rest of the zones with my last stamina build after the IC update hit with its stamina regeneration nerfs... I really cannot tell you how much I RAAAGE when this happens all the freaking time!!!

    I've never had this happen in any zone, all the way through gold, craglorn and IC. There's usually one guy in the mob casting these moves, thats the one you interrupt. Use your available stamina to dodgeroll from red aoe and interrupt the guy casting the snare/stun. If too many guys are casting this at you all at once, you've likely aggro'd several mobs and should re-evaluate your approach. Be it skill setup, gear, stats, whatever. If your talking pvp, ignore me and read what Ipsius wrote.

    Even for pure Stamina builds, Stamina cost increases based on higher level and Stamina amount.
    you will be breaking out of kneel downs and roots more than you can try to use a stamina ability.


    This needs to be toned down of the breakout cost or add more friendly skill in reducing the stamina cost of breakouts.
    Even with Tumbling, maybe that should be changed to more percentage per point and a cap of 10 points, and have it unlock at Rank 30.

    I play with friends in groups and they get seriously angry and frustrated with this, some had threw controllers to the ground.

    in Character - Attributes
    MAGIKA
    HEALTH
    STAMINA

    a point adds 111 or 122.

    You gain an attribute per level and veteran rank.


    Here's my idea.
    add another set of Attributes, and double the amount per point for the Magika, Health and Stamina at 222 or 244.
    why? because you will be spending points on new set of attributes.

    This will need a revamp and possible the deduction of the % increase in the recovery of Magika, Health and Stamina in the Skill Lines and consumables

    Here is the new set of Attributes.

    MAGIKA Recovery
    Health Recovery
    STAMINA Recovery
    Adds +6 for Magika, 11 for Health, and 9 For Stamina or just 6 Points for All.

    Attributes are the most time consuming thing, it can also be a new XP Bar.
    Which Separates from Leveling when you reach Veteran.


    and for the Tumbling, It's just me, I'm not taking the time to put points into that.
