contacted the 1800 support

Just so everyone is woundering i contacted the 1800 support number and talked to someone about my account. Sorry my old post was removed and thank you all who posted with help and support.

The lady on the phone told me there was nothing they could do to help my issue. Not even pay off the balance or have the items removed from my account because of my banks actions agains the merchent. They then began to tell me that i had to make another account and repurchase everything i had purchased before ie the Collectors editions Items mounts ect.

I got my answer. and i feel very hurt to be treated like this buy one of my favorite companies...

    I was reading all of the posts on your last thread, was hoping to see good news...
    I'm sorry that this has happened to you, it must be a nightmare, and all the stress and losing everything you have purchased. I'm quite shocked that this is the conclusion, all because your bank cancelled a payment transfer without your permission...
    I really do hope that this can still be solved, but if your bank and support won't budge, it seems very unfair and hopeless :/

    one last suggestion from me, if you are able to speak german or France, try to contact them insteed of the en Support.

    the bank is a lost cause I have tried to explain to them that i trust the merchant and who they are but the bank has stated that they have had fraudulent charge claims from them in the past and thats why that merchant is flagged and why my payment was stopped. They wont budge.

    since the bank and zos doesnt speak with each other, zos can also assume this could be a stolen CC, so the ban is legitime

    Flagged or not my bank has never taken away a payment unless of course no funds for it without contacting me first and finding out if I authorized the transaction. Your bank is at fault here and they need to fix it.

    Pretty much this, they should not be stopping payments without consulting you as it can cause exactly this kind of problem. If it was me i would explain the situation to the bank and inform them that because if their actions it has cost you X amount of hundreds of dollars worth of assets and you will be seeking legal action against them if they do not comply with your wishes, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

    It's because of things like this that I only ever use my cards online via pay pal, I would suggest if you do decide to restart and purchase everything again to start a pay pal account and use that for transactions with ZOS, a heck of a lot less chance of this happening again that way.

    There are two groups at fault here. Your bank for not contacting you prior to terminating the charge and @ZOS customer service for banning your account on the part of your banks action. This should be easily to resolve, with a payment to @ZOS for the Crowns you tried to buy and your account should be unbanned. It really is as simple as that. I wouldn't recommend using that same bank card if you get this option....

    I've worked in the Customer Service industry for over 25 years and the state at which customers are treated by companies now is completely atrocious.

    @ZOS you really need to do something about your customer service because it is ANYTHING BUT THAT. People are paying for this game and the items within it. They are buying a service and when you don't deliver on that service there goes your reputation. There are posts all over the place about people not getting their Crowns with their ESO Plus membership and nothing being done about it. Your Customer Service existing procedures document needs to be burned with ESO torches and re-done so that you actually do what you should, Service the Customer.....

    sadly with my first post about this being taken down really discourges me and the fact that i have been trying to work with them on resolving the issue and the response that i got on the phone, i am pretty much going to lets this go. i dont know what else to do. They wont work with me nor with they help me in this endevor. i am just at a complete loss for words at how this is being handled.

    and again i can not express the amount of graditude and support i have gotten from everyone on the forums about this issue and i thank you all! from the bottom of my heart for all the help everyone has given me. i just wish more gaming community were like this one.

    with all that being said I give up. just going to move on and try playing something else. again Thank you all and i wish you the best of luck in your adventures!
