You've got:

1) Players who want an Arena

2) Players who want class balancing

3) Players who want more PvP content

4) Players who "don't care about PvE / PvE is useless" (When this game has way more PvE content than PvP anyways)

5) Players who want race changes / redo character customization

I don't see the chat but I will comment on the information I heard which to me speaks to the mentality ZOS has. So when talking about the spell breaker set it was mentioned how it was possible to put three shields on an action bar and have a ton of negate. So instead of adjusting it where only one shield could be active, an active way another player could counter it, or just leaving it alone they made this set to counter that. To me it speaks to the you must play this way or we are going to hamstring you for playing a certain way that the system allows but we or the "majority" of the population doesn't like. I mean who cares if you choose to give up the ability to damage, heal or CC so you can have as much negate as you can get? How does that really effect the over all goal of taking a keep? I suppose it would aid in repelling a keep siege since defeating the owners is a part of taking over a keep, but since there is what 18 keeps? The opposing force just moves to another keep that isn't as defended, which happens with the zerg mentality anyway. To me it is just short sighted to penalize someone who uses the system in game to achieve an aspect while sacrificing other aspects. You may even think that such a build would be gimped, that is the beauty of such a flexible system let players "gimp" themselves that stand back in wonder why they make it work.

He also said they upt the hp on Orsinium mobs because with the mitigation "bug" they had the ttk they wanted... So it doesn't seem like it was ever a bug. They do some crazy things lol

I was there from a couple of hours before the stream started. It was nice and quiet and had a few good conversations about ideas for the game, both fun and practical.

But yes the constant spam of "Shut up we want PvP Arena" got old very quick. I was quite happy listening to the art section as that actually applies to me in other ways. And I happily listened to the rest of the stream too. Was a shame to see the insane amount of spam and abuse in the comments, but of course the hosts ignored it professionally

@SleepyTroll Eric actually said the cap is 501 because we needed it to be evenly divisible by 3. (so stam builds don't get 1 extra CP over Magicka)

As for the chat... well that is the internet sometimes heh. You take the good with the bad and have to develop a pretty thick skin doing what we do. I did really appreciate a whisper from a certain person who apologized for some of the more "passionate" PVP folks though.

I am pretty sure that it would have continued. Wheeler has already answered the core question about PVP Arenas, so the answer is already known. Since ZOS would not be saying what they wanted to hear, things would have just changed over to a complaint stance.

Besides, they did address the people trying to bring up other subjects by clarifying that they were going to be talking about Champion System.

No, he did not say that stamina builds get more CPs.

The closest he got to that sort of statement was explaining that the 501 CP cap number was required to be evenly divisible by 3 so that each of the Mage, Thief, and Warrior get the same number of Champion Points so that both build styles are even. With 501, each gets 167 Champion Points, and the last one is the Mage point. If they had an even 500, then the Thief constellation would have had one more point than the Mage.

Edit: Drats, I am not used to ZOS Rich answering so fast.

Gotta admit, I'm all for joking and trolling around, but when I watched the Orsinium stream and people were mocking Eric in some pretty personal ways it really surprised me. Some others jumped in and started as well. It was pretty disgusting.. but as Rich says, it's the Internet.

That is the problem growing thick skin and "#obamacare" for your players. You don't have to grow a thick skin for that just give people what they want entertain us like you should. Nobody wants to experience pain in virtual world we do have a whole lot in real world, so please do something about that.

No, not a single word... just shows how much they care about PvP again as Eric was on the stream and Kai. Eric's team is responsible for the change and Kai already told us in the German forums he sent Eric a message to ask why the change happened.

Would have been a good location to clear things up when both are on the stream but the stream more looked like Chaos all over anyway...
