Miraak the first Dragonborn in ESO

Since Miraak was the first Dragonborn that existed and the final boss of Skyrim is there any chance to see him and maybe fight him in ESO ?This will also tie up the story of how he died in the past and then at the end he will say something ''il return again'' etc meaning that he will ressurect again in Skyrim after a lot of years. The Elder Scrolls franchise even if its from the most popular for some reason the characters of the games arent remembered at all, they are easily forgotten and Miraak is one of the few ones who became famous along with Alduin and the Daedric Princes so i guess we could see him here sometime.

Yeah, Miraak has been imprisoned in Apocrypha since the Merethic era, so unless we go and visit Hermaeus Mora's home, I don't see how we could encounter him in ESO.

Having said that, Hermaeus Mora is the coolest, and I want to visit Apocrypha! Um, in the game. Probably not in real life. That would be terrifying.

No, he didn't die. He was defeated by Vahlok in a duel, and taken away by Hermaeus Mora before the killing blow could be delivered.

Miraak's time is far before ESO even still. Miraak was around in the Dragon War times, which is the early parts of when Nords first came to Skyrim (or well the second time with Ysgramor and his 500).

Well, actually a bit after that, 'cause they didn't immediately start warring, but still rather long ago.

Did I neglect to mention the presence of Miraak being Dragonborn would make him the true emperor by divine right and the silly little 3 banners war would be meaningless, this is why it is so easy to lose your emporership in cyrodiil becuse you are not the true emperor for in the 2nd era only a Dragonborn can be Emperor.

And the likelihood of Miraak wanting to become emperor if he somehow escaped apocyrpha would be quite high as when one is emperor they can relight the dragonfires........well we all know what would happen then.

Miraak please save us from Molag Bal and this Alliance war. We need a DLC where we can assist Miraak in escaping Apocrypha(for a time lorejunkies) and in turn he will relight the dragonfires and Molag Bal can get the f**k out!

Miraak could return in a Hermaues Mora centered DLC, in the story he would serve more as a secondary antagonist as servant to Mora.
A storyline between Shalidor and Miraak would be awesome.

I always imagined my Dragonborn from ES V would march on the Imperial City and declare himself Emperor! Sometime around 4E 201

Hermaeus Mora is one of the princes I'd like to see explored a bit further. I find Sheogorath a bit tedious tbh and the humour a bit too contrived sometimes. HM is serious and I think a more fulfilling story could be built on that.

Funny thing was that Vahlok wasn't even that cool or unique or anything and that that part of the story was kind of breezed over. It kind of made Miraak look like a bit of a whimp.

Skyrim had two major writing issues. I love it to bits and pieces but it is not beyond criticism.
    1. consistent issue of underselling and undermining its villains.
-No one really understood or cared about the threat of the Dragons and Alduin
-The Vampires were glossed over if you sided with the Dawnguard and the Dawnguard was glossed over if you sided with the vampires.
-Hardly anyone knew anything about Miraak and one of the supporting characters did not take him seriously (Neloth) only the Skaal feared Miraak.

    2. The Main quests were too short
    - the main quests often did not explain enough and/or rushed things so they did not build things up properly, making them feel anti-climactic.
    - Many of the "side quests" should have actually been a part of the main quest.
Example: The quest that explained why Miraak was in Apocrypha and who Vahlok was, wasn't part of the main quest it was a side story that could be done whenever.
Example #2: The Greybeards should have sent you out on the Word Wall "side" quests before sending you to get the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

Vahlok should have had his own unique gear and instead of being someone the Dragonborn fights he should have been a character you talk with who gives you advice on what to do about Miraak.

Overall, storylines were too short, didn't show enough, and rewarded the player too quickly as result. A power fantasy is more rewarding when you earn it.

You don't have to do them in order. I always do main quest and side quests parallel with each other. Especially those that feel connected with each other or are bound to certain place.
But again, you have to play main quest(s) at least twice to really get into the story! There are so many little details during questing that you can miss and not see, yet they are important and make the immersion much deeper and better.

Exactly. Many of the side quests provide details that make the Main Quests better. Dragonborn is really guilty of this. There are details about Miraak you are completely unaware of if you don't do side quest storylines.
However, the Dark Brotherhood and Companions storylines are actually way too short even if you do the side quests.

Thats one thing that I think Oblivion and ESO do better in the writing department. They build storylines up over the course of time as you level. The main questline is specifically designed to go from 1-50 and they pace it out as you do all the quests to help your alliance and make the final Boss Molag Bal more worth it.

Here is this video that I found summed up my problems with the guilds in Skyrim.
