As far as I know, there will be no more free respecs. A couple people spammed complaints after the last free respec and ZOS decided not to do it anymore.

    oh sh..

so how many points should I save to max out all crafting?

Also I'd like to ask, why can you guys not go to craglorn? Isn't it open to everyone?

The problem is the materials for VR15 and VR16 gear such as Ruby ingots right now you can only get them from deconing junk gear and you only get them from either a scaled dungeon that is vr15 or vr16 if your lucky or the Imperial city and that takes forever cause 1 pieces of VR16 gear cost 10X more than vr15 gear.

So that ruby jerkin you want is 15 ruby leathers to make at vr15 will be 150 to make a vr16 and the biggest kick in the jewels is that there's really only a 10-40 point difference between vr15 and vr16 cause little know fact vr16 is only good when it is at gold level and IDK about you guys but I don't have 56 gold temper materials to spare to fully upgrade my vr16 armor to make it as "OP" as ZOS is so fond of stating

I'm getting rubedite ingots, leather, and wood from hirelings right now. I'm not going to IC because I don't enjoy the pvp stuff.

When Wrothgar comes out, I'll be able to gather the higher level mats. I'm not one of the players who have to have the latest bestest gear.

It would take you 3 months to get enough materials from a hireling to do one daily writ. Emphasis on the daily part.

I really wouldn't mind the increase to the new materials, but the rarity of the material (even with the DLC) makes it so that people will either need to spend a lot on material, or spend a long time farming them.

Currently a person could easily farm enough materials in craglorn to do their writs daily. I can't say the same for Orsinium. That's a huge problem in balance as far as I can see it, and the worst part is there seems to be no added payoff for this huge increase in difficulty. Why anyone would farm vr15 mats for a writ that pays a glass fragment, is beyond me.

On paper it sounds good, orsinium has nodes that drop vr15 materials, so what's the problem? Well, get on the PTS and go farm some vr15 materials in orsinium, let me know how long it took you to get 100, that's the problem.

Yes true you get them from hirelings too but the other point stands how VR16 is only good at gold level and again not every one specialty those who play less than 20 hours a week have 56 gold temper materials to spare on a full gold level armor set let alone the 900 something materials to make said armor.
