Should console megaservers be combined?

No, I like the current population.
They just need good group-finder that is all. Ive suggested innovative system, players can put requests, requests are shown on UI of current online players, they get reward if they help. I think this could work also for low level zones, like Dolmens, Group Dungeons, World Bosses etc, everyone is scaled to level of the request author. Theres so much group-content, Zen needs to take this seriously.

Microsoft diesnt want to allow it

And to be honest if we allowbconsoles to play together, pc should be ablento play with consoles too
Please vote in the console text chat thread so ZoS can see how many people want text chat

...and dueling in the dueling thread but personally I want text chat first...

    Confusing poll is confusing.

Are you asking about merging all servers for a specific console (EUPS and USPS), servers in each region (EUPS and EUXBone etc) or ALL console servers?

And don't get me started on the possible responses. "yes, I want more people" or "no, I don't want more people"?

    Bah.

You're thinking too hard. Doesn't really matter if they kept them separate or mashed them together, the simple question was if you wanted consoles to combine megaservers. Asking if I wanted eu and na together during that combining process is a whole nother question.
Not really...if you were asking about NA and EU there are other issues...such as lag. I mean, there's a reason for servers in each region.

    And your answers are still...suspect.

But again, I never said anything involving combination of the 2 side servers WITHIN the megaserver so yes, you are thinking too hard and adding complication to a simple question.

I voted no, not because of population, but because if they fix the game the population would rise.

I haven't played eso in a month (PS4). For over a week after ic released I couldn't do anything. 20 minute load screens and more.

I'm also a PvE player, they put the new stuff behind PvP and I didn't have time to wait in queue over 3 hours to try it.

When someone told me Orsinium notes were out I got excited until I read them. No real end game PvE at all besides a solo arena in an mmorpg. If i wanted solo content I'd play a solo rpg, and there is a much better option for that over eso, it was dragon age.

If they fixed the bugs and actually added in end game trials and pve content not gated by pvp then people would flock to the game.

MS will absolutely not allow its console players to be cross-platformed with other players from competing services (like PSN). So the question is moot.

Considering Microsoft is losing sales on XBOX, their smart phones aren't popular, the tablets are less then functional and businesses are starting to switch. Microsoft can keep to themselves and the world won't care.

There are a few that are small group online games. but as for MMOs FF is the only one. DCUO was trying to do that but since it was made for the ps3 it will never work.

Xbox and PS4 on one server? Cool

Consoles and PC mixed? Not so cool.

Average PC players would kick the *ss of the expert Console players.

With the combo mouse/keyboard you're at least 50% faster.

And PC players can use a lot gadgets as well.
PC and Console players don't belong together in one world. They play a different game.

I played on the PC with a controller for over a year and didn't have any trouble competing with your beloved mouse and keyboard. I bet many of the players I killed thought that their mouse made them superior to controller players too. Little did they know.

There's a reason why we call your experience anecdotal evidence. Never, ever say 'Haha, but I could beat them, so would we all'.

Besides, I'm wondering how you knew when your enemy was a keyboard/mouse or a gamepad user.

And other bias in your information is that your finding could be statistical non-significant. Maybe you didn’t play versus enough mouse/keyboard and gamepad players. How do you knew they were noob, average or expert? Looking at their level isn't accurate. I know many noob Veterans and I know a few expert noob.

And maybe you're, not by purpose, deluding yourself a bit. Our memory isn't very accurate. We all remember victories better than defeats. You’re maybe colouring it all a bit. No worries, we all do. You are just proving you’re a human.

Whatever the reason was, your findings are certainly not accurate.

Lucky for us, several companies and universities studied the issue, one of them was Microsoft:

PC gamers have long mocked the use of handheld controllers as an input method for shooters and other genres that require fast, precise actions. Apparently, that attitude isn't unwarranted, based on a blog post by the founder of Voodoo PC and current CTO of HP's gaming division, Rahul Sood.

According to Sood's sources, "many many months ago," Microsoft set out on a Xbox Live project that would let PC and console users interact on some form of united multiplayer platform – a grand idea on paper. In practice however, it's said that PC gamers "destroyed" console players every time.

The slaughter was so bad, Sood says that Microsoft even pitted "mediocre" PC gamers against "the best" console gamers in testing, and the results were unchanged: the keyboard and mouse prevailed. It's not clear what titles were played, but Unreal and Gears of War are mentioned.

Displeased with its findings, Microsoft supposedly cancelled the project to spare its Xbox team and players the embarrassment. I think most of us can agree a keyboard and mouse is more precise, but what do you prefer and why? Feel free to preach the virtues of your input device in the comments.

Combine PS4 and PC like FF did. It would be great to have more people on.

People will probably *** about PC mods then but simple solution would be to be able to select to only play with other PS4's at least then people would have the option.

That's not true at all Microsoft allow cross platform play with PC(well windows)But not PS4.Their releasing Cross play games this year/Next.Also IMO from what I seen and heard PSN is no where near as reliable as Xbox live.I believe that's the reason why they don't allow cross play with PS4.

No, that's not exactly accurate. Basically, Windows 10 will let you stream your Xbox games on your PC (if you have an Xbox and the Xbox version of the game, of course). So, a Windows 10 user can played a streamed version of ESO's Xbox version. That doesn't mean that you can open up your PC version of ESO on your PC and play with your Xbox friends, or that an Xbox player can group up with his buddy who plays on PC but doesn't have an Xbox, or that the MS lets Xbox players play on the PC megaserver.
