Should console megaservers be combined?
With the lack of people being online at certain times it can be hard to find groups for certain things which defeats the purpose of an MMO.
ALTHOUGH on weekends the population drastically increases, causing others to possibly lag in crowded areas. With that being said, if they offered maybe some kind of side server where towns have a cap of how many people can be in one town "server" at a time, should it be implemented?

What needs to happen is a incentive and drastic improvements to the grouping tools to the extent that the rewards are like what ppl farm for and grind for each month.

✭✭Many people want cross platform play like FF14 online between PC and consoles and could happen if ESO was PC and PS4 only. Microsoft made it very clear that they don't share there money with any one.

Although I have not done much on the NA server, I did spend a chunk of time creating some characters for when I do want to switch over.
Unless we can have all 16 toons available to use, I do not want a merge.PS4 EU

PKLdude✭✭✭I would say yes and screw Microsoft. Concerning all the "issues" it would bring, if done right I don't see a problem I mean ffxiv did it wonderfully. But again this is zos they made such a disparity between the pc and console under the guise of "different" play experiences it can't be done at this point. I mean pc has controller support, and keyboard and mouse, Consolers can't function at such a complicated level * rolls eyes.* pc has text chat, I don't understand how they are able to use a controller and still text chat *rolls eyes*. They have mods to make up for their failure of a ui, why make the uis universal and informative..... Oh right peoplez immersions. Their lfg tool is "working as intended" * rolls eyes*, never mind that me as a healer can queue up for all the dungeons during peak hours and not get a group for hours. So really zos had shown they would rather make the mistakes instead of what people tell them and let the cards fall where they may.0 -

This, M$ and Sony will never see eye to eye. Thats why I mentioned if they separated the amount of people that appeared in a city with mini servers. So like you would have "channels" in towns that you can select based on your lag issue. spatz✭✭Yes, more people the better.I noticed a big decrease in selling my stuff with the guild trader and that is due to a lot less people playing. Normally I sold around 20 items a day now I am down to like 5 if I get lucky. I really hope ESO on PS4 will get back some people because all the areas seem really empty an the game loses a lot of atmosphere without anyone in town.
2 month ago Auridon was so full you nearly could not find the blacksmith no I sometimes only see NPC's.

When was this last attempted though? As I previously said, Microsoft and APPLE we're able to put their differences aside This year, so if it was attempted in 2014 well then we have to try again. Maybe more people that come forward can start a movement to get them to agree to do it. All I want to know is if you guys wanted it and if enough people showed they did then maybe zeni would try again.
This is an MMO and if the consoles lack population in it then maybe they will think twice so they can profit more before it's too late. In their eyes (Microsoft ) maybe they felt their population was superior on launch that it felt unnecessary and wanted to show who's better, community wise. Never know.
