Maybe then you would of felt better.

But that was sort of the point. My buddy just stood there and I one-keyed him to death. It was so mismatched it was sad.

Agreed here.
I'll be honest, I still am quite awful at PvP buuuut, I love Imperial City and to be honest, in order to actually survive and thrive, one has to have some semblance of PvP knowledge. I am currently working on "re-working" my gear and build so that I can do better. This is part of the "fun" of a game, learning and figuring out new things as well as giving and getting help from other like-minded individuals.

It was a quick fight which we easily won. Of course we expected him to come back and try for a rematch and he didn't disappoint. And again. And yet again. I should note that he barely scratched either of us in those encounters. Finally we went over to the respawn point for AD and just stood there hoping he'd take the hint and head back down the ladder. But, no, he broke the truce and heavy attacked my friend with his Restoration staff then tried to Jesus beam me from the platform. I spammed throwing daggers and burned him down in seconds. It was the saddest 'victory' I've ever had.
