Is it possible to skip Rivenspire altogether?

I play on the PS4 and Rivenspire is all kinds of messed up. is it possible to skip it altogether and go straight to the Alik'r Desert?

Do you want to do the cadwells silver/gold? If yes then you have to do it unfortunately. Otherwise no you can just skip it.

Does skipping the main quest in a zone not let you go to Coldhabour and finish the quest there?

Grind somewhere, quest in Cyrodiil, fight in PvP, etc

I think you have to do the final stage of the MQ in Zone 5 to get the quest to go to Coldharbor.You can just port there if you have a guild mate or friend or group mate that can get to Coldharbor.

No I can go to Coldharbor as soon as leave the Wailing Prison

If your home alliance is DC, I think you can just take a boat to Alik'r (or teleport to a friend or guild-mate who is there) and pick up the main alliance quest from there without completing the Rivenspire portion of it. As @FuzzyDuck79 alludes to, though, if it's not your home alliance, you'll definitely have to complete the main quests there in order to complete your Cadwell's Silver or Cadwell's Gold checklists.

I'm curious, though, what do you mean by "Rivenspire is all kinds of messed up"?

There might be an issue getting the MQ in Coldharbor going if you skip the Alliance Content, at least the final quest in the last zone. But you can get to Coldharbor anytime you find someone to port to.

Wayrest Docks are the alternative, and geographically more intelligent, route to Alik'r.

Long loading times; sometimes can't even get in. Fortunately, I was able to complete everything on my main before it got real bad. Thinking of skipping the zone altogether with my alts until it gets fixed

Ah, gotcha. It was like that for a while on PC-NA, but I think it's fixed now. Or at least I don't think the loading screens there are any worse now than they are everywhere else. So maybe a fix will be coming to PS4 shortly.
