Why no small scale PVP yet?!?!

Ok yeah. We all get tired of hearing this mahbe the devs will get annoyed to a point and actually say something. Why is there no small scale pcp? 2v2v2, 3v3v3...ect. I don't know about everyone else the whole zerg in Cyrodiil is annoying as can be. How can you showcase a 3v3v3 at E3 and then not mention anything else about it? *waits for the go play wow it gw2* what's wrong with taking a page from blizzards book like others have? They haven't been around for about 10 years for no reason... I love the PVP aspect of this game but it would be so much better if we had some sort of smaller system. Can't find a good campaign to join because they are either completely full (Azuras star) or dead like scourge where one faction runs the entire map... I was hoping with the new DLC you guys might actually listen to what players want and add it. Just like any other company *** what the players want, who cares about them right?

    Theyre too busy buffing zergd in open world pvp to work on small scale pvp.

    Haven't you been playing Imperial City is the small scale pvp ZOS been saying and every one wants. It's so much better than an actual PvP arena.

    Yeah we need some pvp arenas for sure. Was hoping during the reading about the new DLC it would mention something. NOPE. Just some PVE style solo trials stuff.

    No, thats actually not sarcasm. IC is the ZoS definition of small scale PvP.

    The Arena gear grind is the primary reason I left WoW.

    I agree the grind in wow sucked for arena gear but then again the rating system was awesome. 2200+ for better weapons was good. So not every scrub could get their hands on them.

    We dont need any gear, we only need battlegrounds! There is enough gear in the game! But not enough (means nothing) smallscale PvP!

    I'm getting to the point where I log into cyrodiil, get zerged down, then log out my game... I don't see myself playing this game much longer without any real competitive pvp

    Most of the pvp players want a small scale arena option added to the game, but the pvers are afraid it will begin a cascade of buffs/nerfs/balancing that will hurt their most important " how fast can you kill a scripted AI battle" leader boards.

    Big question, if it's do demanded and soooo needed, why when players on console and pc organise small pvp events do less than 20-30 people show up?

    Surely hundreds would if it was that heavily demanded?

    The issue is that player organised events don't have the same structure. There are campaign logistics to consider (can people get in, is it laggy, is there a spot everyone can travel to easily, does one faction have a disproportionate amount of buffs etc). There are also no rewards.

    Duels / small scale with game mechanics in place to accommodate it would be huge...
