Possible macro-er PS4

Was helping my missus out last night in IC when we get literally face rolled by some NB on PS4 NA, two shotted us all and checking back on my missus death screen shows he hit her with five skills but only had an animation for two!? I made a video of it and thought others might be able to shed a little light onto this. If he is using a piece of kit to bind multiple skills to one button (cronus, ect) how are we supposed to tackle this? If he is modifying mechanics will ZOS be able to do anything? His PSN account name is shown in the video.

Bruce-Cambel✭✭No need to be patronising! Was waiting for someone to spit that out. I pvp alot and never been two shotted, they always end up killing me most of the time but not "chop chop dead.

✭Not a macro it looks like there may have been an animation cancel on the surprise attack on the female toon maybe from the death recap, hard to tell with the camera angle. NB's always wreck from stealth so working as intended from the looks of it.
He hit with a heavy attack with a heal debuff then stealth and surprised attack for the stun and finished with another surprise attack from a cloaked stealth.

Bruce-Cambel✭✭Me and the missus have over 25k with food off the top of my head. Not logged in so can't check atm. The third person you see was a level 23 i think so they should have 30k+ if the had battle leveling on.
I'm aware of the animation canceling but not to a level like this chap. I was just curious on how he managed to wipe us so quickly so thought I'd ask the community.0 -

Ah no definitely not. I'd like to rebind my buttons but not have multiple skills on one. It's unfair to others regardless.

I've made posts about this kind of thing before, all you will get is trash talked.
But yeah this macro abuse has been going on for a long time.
You can tell the guy is macroing by looking at the timing of the attack/s, to me it looks exactly the same for each of his kills. I don't care how skilled you're that's humanly impossible, 3 times in a few seconds he would've had to have slipped up in the rotation at least once if it was not a macro!
Report the player.

zornyan✭✭✭✭✭That's not a macro, just someone that has spent lots of time playing the game and has their timing perfect.
Throw in some latency either yours, theirs or the servers end and we have a winner!
Crikey I can make wrecking blow, heavy attack and another insta cast hit someone at once for 20k+ damage as a dk.
A nb with some steal damage bonuses will easily 2 shot you.0 -

✭Looked like lag to me, not macros. With legit marcos you don't actually hear the light attack from the weave.
Most people on console while they understand how to weave, they aren't the best at it, and underestimate how much difference proper button set up makes. For example I put Surprise Attack on square to limit the movement needed, and it takes me roughly 2 seconds to get off Light Attack - Surprise Attack - Light Attack - Surprise Attack.
EDIT:
It's 4 attacks. The 2 light attack animations were cancelled with Surprise Attacks, and Befoul Weapon is the damage from the weapon enchant proc.Edited by dday3six on October 10, 2015 9:39AM0 -

Anyway I think animation cancel should be removed from this game.
There are no animation cancel, there are no macro users.

ZOS have already stated animation cancelling is here to stay, so don't get your hopes up of it being removed.1 -

I don't think you understand how macros work. Even if all skills were animation locked (keep in mind many are) a marco could be programmed to que up the next action the precise moment first action's animation ended. So macros would still provide an unfair advantage regardless.0 -
