He is a dangerous target, I have to pick him first always

To save you time, i tried something close to it... and it doesn't work.
- Firestaff heavy attacks don't get stealth damage bonus unlike heavy bow attacks. So they do much less dmg.
- When the firestaff heavy attack is charged it releases immediately, whereas with the bow you can keep it place and it won't release until you let go of LMB. So you can't move around having a heavy fully charged ready to go.
- Heavy attacks have a very visible and relatively slow animation. Most targets see it coming and either block, shield, reflect it. Bow heavy attacks are instant and there is 0 chance you'll see the arrow mid-air.
- There are a ton of counters to it. BoL (the Sorc kind), Eclipse, Scales, Defensive Posture...
@Lhorion had made a build like that, back in the first days of 1.6. Like I said i tried to put a 2.1 spin on it, but it doesn't really work. I'll put the vid here referencehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEZS0mUZiTI
Well still I will definitly try it. Besides 1st days of 1.6 was like 70 - 80 CP, now we have ~500.. I think u can get nice burst with proper spell dmg and CP allocation.

In 1.6 Battle Spirit was 15% and now it's 50%. So overall the damage on the first days of 1.6 was higher than 500 cps and 50% Battle Spirit.
Also that build relied on Mistform for a bit of mobility, but mistform is now useless since you are always targettable without tab-targeting. Every time you try to extract yourself from battle there's a NB spamming Ambush on you, perma-rooting you on the spot.
My point is that a one-shot build that doesn't get the a quick kill will often die and there is little chance of you one-shotting anyone with fire heavies. If your target survives, you're a LA DK with crap wards, mediocre heals, poor sustains (since you are damage focused) and no escapes. That's a sitting duck pretty much.
I don't wanna put you off, though. Go and try it for yourself. I'm just giving you a heads up based on my experience, so you avoid butting you head against a wall

There's two white glows you could be talking about. One is the white glow that shows up after you TAB target an enemy, the other is the white glow that shows up on Vampires and Werewolves (in WW form) when you have Evil Hunter slotted.WitchyWarrior wrote: »Quick question, What is that white glow on the one player? Thanks in advance! Loved the video btw. I usually don't watch them for very long, because I have the attention span equivalent to a squirrel. However, I laughed very much watching yoursMakes me want to go back to bow.

ChannelTribes wrote: »Do you have a hard time getting back into stealth after you kill someone? I used a similar build on PTS but instead of silver bolts I used equilibrium for the might of the guild buff, if I access to all the gear that I wanted I was going to slot poison injection instead. The only time I could test it was in IC and every time I killed someone I would stay detected for a solid 2 mins and most likely die to a player in that time frame. I was squishy because I didn't have my final build, do you have the same problem? I gave up on it and just figured NB ganking would be better (bow heavy+surprise attack). Nice vid though.
ItsRejectz wrote: »Cool video man, especially cool that it's done with a dk. I run the same sets on my NB but 2H from stealth rather than bow. Normally get 18-19k crits from stealth and clipping in a surprise attack normally finishes them off.
Know what you mean about sorcs/shields though, I just leave them now lol

Hmmm...I must have a bug or something. I don't use Evil Hunter or tab target so I shouldn't encounter it. oh well.
Thanks for the response!
