To save you time, i tried something close to it... and it doesn't work.
    1. Firestaff heavy attacks don't get stealth damage bonus unlike heavy bow attacks. So they do much less dmg.
    2. When the firestaff heavy attack is charged it releases immediately, whereas with the bow you can keep it place and it won't release until you let go of LMB. So you can't move around having a heavy fully charged ready to go.
    3. Heavy attacks have a very visible and relatively slow animation. Most targets see it coming and either block, shield, reflect it. Bow heavy attacks are instant and there is 0 chance you'll see the arrow mid-air.
    4. There are a ton of counters to it. BoL (the Sorc kind), Eclipse, Scales, Defensive Posture...

@Lhorion had made a build like that, back in the first days of 1.6. Like I said i tried to put a 2.1 spin on it, but it doesn't really work. I'll put the vid here reference

Well still I will definitly try it. Besides 1st days of 1.6 was like 70 - 80 CP, now we have ~500.. I think u can get nice burst with proper spell dmg and CP allocation.

In 1.6 Battle Spirit was 15% and now it's 50%. So overall the damage on the first days of 1.6 was higher than 500 cps and 50% Battle Spirit.

Also that build relied on Mistform for a bit of mobility, but mistform is now useless since you are always targettable without tab-targeting. Every time you try to extract yourself from battle there's a NB spamming Ambush on you, perma-rooting you on the spot.

My point is that a one-shot build that doesn't get the a quick kill will often die and there is little chance of you one-shotting anyone with fire heavies. If your target survives, you're a LA DK with crap wards, mediocre heals, poor sustains (since you are damage focused) and no escapes. That's a sitting duck pretty much.

I don't wanna put you off, though. Go and try it for yourself. I'm just giving you a heads up based on my experience, so you avoid butting you head against a wall

I also want to try a MAgicka DK...still gathering mats, f.....150 silks for a chestpiece..goood job ZOS...how shall we propperly theorycraft if things are so expensive and hard to get....I wouldnt even care about droprate in dungeons...but those 150 pieces are just ridonculus.

However, I think you cannot get the same burst with Magicka DK as with Stam but close to it...with some benefits of being magicka..

Then the mobility, Templars and Dks are always sitting ducks....sadly...Thats why just push forward and take a enemy into olbivion together with you :D

Do you have a hard time getting back into stealth after you kill someone? I used a similar build on PTS but instead of silver bolts I used equilibrium for the might of the guild buff, if I access to all the gear that I wanted I was going to slot poison injection instead. The only time I could test it was in IC and every time I killed someone I would stay detected for a solid 2 mins and most likely die to a player in that time frame. I was squishy because I didn't have my final build, do you have the same problem? I gave up on it and just figured NB ganking would be better (bow heavy+surprise attack). Nice vid though.

Quick question, What is that white glow on the one player? I noticed it after the IC patch that if I'm fighting a group, one will have the white glow. I have only seen it happen on NPCs I'm fighting & I have no clue what it's purpose is.

Thanks in advance! Loved the video btw. I usually don't watch them for very long, because I have the attention span equivalent to a squirrel. However, I laughed very much watching yours :) Makes me want to go back to bow.

There's two white glows you could be talking about. One is the white glow that shows up after you TAB target an enemy, the other is the white glow that shows up on Vampires and Werewolves (in WW form) when you have Evil Hunter slotted.

Usually its like this, when I kill the player I can get back into sneak instantly, when I cannot kill him then I cannot go into sneak anymore. Also when a NPC targeted you you wil not be able to go into sneak, their target range is like 5km xD.

I use SIlver Shards over Poison Injection because it does 2x the dmg and also bc Mighty CP perk boosts it.

Well squishy I wouldnt say, but fights are always short, either enemy dies fast or you die :) You have to kill melees when they do not block and then leap + executioner. Leap does approx 18k dmg crit + exe 8k = rip enemy. And ranged targets well Heavy attack them down. Sorcs are the hardest to kill tho bc their NON CRITABLE shields are annoying.

In the end, you could go sword n board with more sustain but what does it help if you can tank 10 guys but you cannot kill a single one, thats why I better use burst and take one with me if i have to go down

Cool video man, especially cool that it's done with a dk. I run the same sets on my NB but 2H from stealth rather than bow. Normally get 18-19k crits from stealth and clipping in a surprise attack normally finishes them off.
Know what you mean about sorcs/shields though, I just leave them now lol

Fights against sorcs are usually quite short, either you take them down with the first shot or they will just reapply their Shields and rip you apart. Tho 75% of sorcs are vamps so they die anyway :dizzy: The hard Sorcs to kill are the nonvamp sorcs.

Most annoying are permablockers...but i think I just found a way to kill them today, have to test first tho

ahh, Mekos always runs around with 50k HP, Tho his blazing shield is "weak" so its easy to get a high dmg burst on him bc rest of dmg gets in unmitigated. But havent seen him around lately in all those AD massacres

It could be the DW skill blade cloak, reduces aoe damage by 20%, it gives the player a whiteish glow around. Alot use it in groupfights.
