Major Werewolf glitch needs fixing ZOS

I know the entire Werewolf community is going to hate me for reportimg this but it had to be done. People are giving out unlimited Werewolf bites by waiting for their friend to die near a shrine. They then use the devour corpse on the body and the player gets the disease. I know this works because I have done it before but it needs to be fixed before people abuse it.

    Interesting.....

Be funny to see oodles of players laying around dead at the shrine hoping to get munched on.

Wow, I never would have thought of trying that... In some ways I'm not surprised to find that that actually works. I suspect that is is really only a problem on console, though, because on PC it's not nearly as difficult to find someone with an available bite to infect you. Not a whole lot of point in doing this exploit on PC.

If you don't care about this post why even reply? all he's trying to do is get ZOS to patch it, really no need for stuff like that.

*facepalm* If this actually works...how do people find this stuff out? I've always wondered if they just stumble upon such things by accident or deliberately go looking for exploits/glitches/bugs.

On PS4, I haven't encountered or heard about this. I have 3 WWs, and most of the time when my bites are ready (which I just give out for free) I end up waiting around at the shrine for people who are looking to get bit. In my experience, there always seems to be more WWs willing to bite than people wanting to contract the disease. Maybe that's why I haven't seen this "bug" yet.

You'd be surprised at the number of weird things someone will start playing around with when they hit just the right mix of bored and curious ;) .

I remember during the open beta I started just swimming out to sea just to find out how far you could go and what happens when you reach the limit. That was how I found out about the "Slaughtered" Achievement. Got quite a laugh out of that. Best achievement ever.

I got that achievement when I tried to swim to the tower I could see in the distance from Glenumbra. I must admit to giggling like an idiot when I saw it come up...

It's okay, ZOS has already destroyed werewolves on the PTR.

Yes, yes it does.. I'd rather not see 100's of werewolves running around.. that's why they have a week cooldown.

Bites aren't hard to get these days. The only true dilemma in getting them is the shrines are not always as crowded as they once were so there's a chance your visit will be fruitless.

An exploit is an exploit though, and this one could indeed use some looking into.
