    The dark brotherhood don't have any sanctuaries in Vvardenfell. In the 2nd era Vvardenfell is under the control of the tribunal temple and they don't allow any n'wah to set foot there, and definitely not a rival assassin's guild to the morag tong. The dark brotherhood appear in the mournhold sewers in Tribunal but they're hiding out down there, not operating in the open.

    I have read somewhere, that they are planning to release a dlc every quarter. so I hope it would be true.

    Am starting to think the Dark brotherhood expansion might be released January with a PTS released in December. They been working on the Dark Brotherhood and thieves Guild since launch maybe a little bit before launch.If imperial City and orc town can be ready a month afterwards release. Am starting thibk Dark brotherhood and Thieves Guild will be released sooner then everyone thinks.

    I don't think it works like that. They may have 3 or 4 in development at the same time, all finishing months apart. If you are making 4 DLC's in parallel, even if they take between 6-12 months each to make then you can see a steady flow of released DLC on a quarterly basis.

    They've committed to quarterly DLC - so something every 3 months. Orsinium is Nov 2nd, so something else should turn up early Feb

    wait, what do you mean with "somewhere has to go the line? (maybe because I am not EN native, I do not understand the meaning of the expression). I think the best way for ZOS would be to milk it as long it gets. To add content forever. Nirn is huge, so they can do it like 10 years + and still there would be more to add.

    At this point you cannot count Craglorn or Upper Craglorn, those were developed for the Console alongside the rest of the Base Game (which is what it is now considered).

    While I do not expect TG and DB to come out at the same time, I do expect that one or the other will be released *before* the end of the 1st Quarter next year as part of their commitment to their promise.

    Personally I would prefer Murkmire to release before DB or TG, but that is because I would like to see new trials and new dungeons as soon as possible.

    Somewhere has to go the line where the content stops coming. As far I know WoW adds expansion every 2 year. Zen has already added that and more in 1.5 year.

    New gear is fun. Having to grind new v18 gear after using over a month to grind enough to afford the best v16 legendary gear is certainly not fun.


    Who said anything abut V18? The cap isnt going up with Orsinium. Its been months since the cap went up and will be months and months more before it goes up again. So you have nothing to worry about.

    Here I thought it was fun to have new levels to get and new gear to get every now and again. What are they supposed to do? Stagnate the game?

    Its not a rumor. Go watch their last Quakecon Panel.

    Dark Brotherhood some time in early 2016 followed by Thieves Guild after that. Murkmire and Clockwork City are also in the works.

    Considering how much time goes into designing just a single zone, from concept to world-building, Id wager we will see a rotation of Zone DLCs like Orsinium mixed in with DLCs that are more Quality of Life-Immersion Developing like Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild will be.

    They claim they are going to be able to release content every quarter. But with a single zone taking 5-6 months to design and build before even laying in the ground work for quests. I doubt they can provide us a new zone every quarter.


    Just so people are clear on what a quarter is and the time window ZOS has given themselves for release of content.

    1st quarter: 1 October 2015 – 31 December 2015
    2nd quarter: 1 January 2016 – 31 March 2016
    3rd quarter: 1 April 2016 – 30 June 2016
    4th quarter: 1 July 2016 – 30 September 2016


    Imperial City was released for PC in August and PS4/Xbox One in September putting it on the end of the 4th Quarter. Orsinium is coming out Mid-November so itll be square in the middle of the 1st Quarter. For us, it seems like theyre dropping left and right. But theres no guarantee that Dark Brotherhood will release in January since they have til the end of March before they start to look like liars. Same thing for Thieves Guild in the 3rd Quarter. They can launch it in April or wait til June.

    I don't see how 1 year follows. Especially since during the 1.5 years you mention, they added console support (a major effort), justice system, 2 Craglorns, and trials. Most of all, they dealt with an insane number of launch bugs. Seems pretty unlikely that it takes a full year to get next DLC out unless a bunch of key people leave at the same time (which can mess up any project).

    Is there any reason to believe they are working on a justice update apart from posts here from people who crave more PvP?

    They should have released it for pc only at the time.

    Everything is still new on console. A lot hadn't got to 14, done trials, all the pledges, craglorn.

    Those sho got to 14 used all mats on end game armor then within weeks it was redundant.

    We could have waited another month or so.

    I havent played it because my playstyle (solo casual with sometimes grouping for dungeons etc) has been ignored since launch. So all my characters were stuck between VR10 and VR12. Craglorn was terrible and required groups just to walk around. IC was meant for PVP only and is a huge disaster because of it. I wish they could have released orsinium and IC at the same time but I know thats probably not feasible as far as from the development end. Ill play it again once the worthgar DLC is out. Until then I have nothing to do but sit and stare at the screen. I cant grind all way from 12 to 16. I mean I could I guess but Id rather quit first lol.

    It's either drakbrother hood and thieves guild (hopeing they don't let any one join always played the noble hero) or Vivecs Clock Work city. After those Yea guess is as good as mine. Sure ESO is a year and half old and has a few contents now but ESO story is just really starting.

    I believe they announced new dlc each quarter at Quakecon 2015. Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood dlc confirmed.

    Plenty of games do quarterly DLC now, they're not working on one at a time, they'll have 3-4 teams working on each DLC individually, as one releases they're working on the next, hell they are more than likely already working on DLC for 2017 now.

    If they only did one at a yime, then it would literally be years between dlc.
