Adding Ultimate abilities for Weapon skill trees?

Topic, have Zenimax answered this in anyway?
And what kind of abilities would you like to see, that can accompany the already existing skill trees in a good way? :)

    That would be interesting tbh. I can already think of a few, quick ideas.

    Bow - Rapid Fire, which could be a channeled Ultimate that fires very quickly, a bit like a minigun and staggers the target a bit like Biting Jabs, but can be interrupt-able or blocked?

    Destruction Staff - Create a massive fire storm AOE which could be channeled with a huge radius, raining down balls of fire or something.

    I can't think of any more good ones atm. :hushed:

    Bow - Quick Draw - Fire a strong projectile at each enemy with a 10 meter radius, and increase your movement speed based on how many enemies you hit.

    1H/S - Fortify - Gain a damage shield equal to half of your physical resistance for 6 seconds.

    2H - Overpower - Channel for 1 second and unleash a whirlwind of attacks as you move.

    Destruction Staff - Unstable Elements - Create an elemental torrent which seeks a target. It explodes for heavy AoE damage and knocks all enemies down in the destination area.

    Dual Wield - Parry - Gain 100% dodge chance to all melee attacks for 5 seconds. If an attack is dodged, deal high damage to that attacker.

    Restoration Staff - Cleansing Prayer - Lay down a small radius of protection, making all allies inside immune to negative effects for the duration of the prayer.

    I think they should all follow the trend of being low-cost ultimates but rather weak in exchange. I really would like having ultimates for the weapon trees.

    wouldnt mind a resto staff ultimate, make templar a bit less of the go to healer, then again templar stam buffs still exist so meh.

    This is a great idea would create more variances in builds. I like the firestorm idea for destroy staff similar to when Balrath attacks covenant fleet and it would be nice if the resto staff one was similar to the Templar restoring light ultimate to give non Templar healers that oh **** panic heal but it should be not quite as effective keeping Templar heal superiority intact. Stamina based weapons not so sure but the above idea about them being less powerful but cheaper than a class super works well although I would slap my nan to have the parry ability described above on my Stam sorc that seems overpowered

    I'd be for this. There's no real downside to adding more ultimates in the game. It's not like you can utilise more than 2 at a time anyway. My sword and board would love something funky too, though it'd be hard pressed to give up my DKs leap..

    Maybe they could base weapon ultimate off what I've called the "nirncrux attacks" in craglorn? Like how archers raise the bow up in the air to charge an attack that does massive damage in one hit?

    Edit: Likely also make the above example interruptable like the NPC version.

    We have since long the Master Weapons that strenghten the first ability in the weapon ability tree

    With Orsinium we get a second tier of Master Weapons that strenghten the second ability of the weapon ability tree

    It is a bit speculative.... but I guess that expanding this over time to the 3rd, 4th, 5th ability could be on the agenda of ZOS

    Perhaps thoughts, ideas, like mentioned above :) , how to strenghten the 3rd ability with a Master Weapon, perhaps coming next year, have more chance of being realised.

    for 1h and shield, it could be shield throwing ultimate. captain america style, yeah.

    Probably not a good idea because then DKs will prolly slot 1 dk ability instead of 2, if you know what I mean

    Dual Wield could be an ultimate where your character charges, and does a crazy wild aggresive flurry assault, with a big aoe dagger spin at the end (or beginning).

    Two hander could slam the ground with lightning like the npc's do (although I think they could come up with something better for players).

    Staves could rain elemental damage down on a huge aoe (Molten/Blizzard/Lightning Storm) depending on which one you have.

    Restoration could blast healing goodness with some resistances.

    I love sword and shield, I think it should be something tanky that does damage. No specifics in mind though.

    I would also love racial ultimates as long as they were all good, and more ultimates were available in game in general. We could use an undaunted ultimate for instance.

    That's just snipe modified for mobs to be slower casting, like how npc wrecking blow or shield charge has an added cast time

    Good one, didn't think of this, mostly because no master weapon really works for any of my specs. Except maybe the 1h, anyway insightful!

    What if weapon ultimate could be activated and for a short amount of time all weapon skills are enhanced. Oh wait, just thought about wrecking blow enhanced hmm not a good idea.

    Could you elaborate? Why would more choices be anything but good? I am absolutely for weapon ultimate abilities. More skills and choices only create more build diversity.
