IN CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
In a time of great stress and conflict, entertainment is needed more than in times of peace. People need a way to relax and feel joy so that they would have a momentary distraction from the stress and conflict. Thus was a new troupe of performers called the Tamrielic Performers was born. Their goal is to bring relaxation and joy to all of Tamriel, starting with the Aldermi Dominion. If you want to join the troupe to bring relaxation and joy to others, then seek out Vara-La in the large central building of S'ren-ja. We seek performers, merchants, guards, labourers and more.
OUT OF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
We are a collaborative, peaceful, casual and laid back guild that is a troupe of performers, but we also need other types of characters (see Character Roles below). We are strictly about roleplay. Our goal is to provide a peaceful, social and relaxed roleplay atmosphere.
We accept a variety of skills for our performers and other members and a variety of roleplay backgrounds. We are open to all races.
Because the guild is laid back the rules have been kept to a minimum. We have guidelines for roleplay, but they are also minimal.
The troupe is based in Sren-ja and is called Tamrielic Performers, just like the guild. The Clanmother's House is the central hub for the troupe and for roleplaying, but we also use other buildings (see How We Use S'ren-Ja below).
We will be attending the Woodhearth Open Market every week to perform. We will also hold our own events across Tamriel, with most being one-off shows. But in the future we will also do a regular event every 2-4 weeks.
We will sometimes use the Officer's channel in game for roleplay, such as if someone wants to roleplay multiple characters. Regular members and contacts will have access to the Officer channel for this purpose.
We do not enforce any minimum level of participation (i.e. character sheets, weekly logs, minimum participation, etc.) but do encourage those who join to participate as much as they possibly can.
The guild is not only open to cross guild roleplay, but is actively seeking it. If you are interested in doing this with us, please contact the Guild Master (see Contact or Join Us below).
We are not 100% lore compliant, but we do strongly encourage being as lore friendly as possible. However, excluding blatant lore breaches, we put story first.
CHARACTER ROLES
We need characters that fit into the following roles:
- Lead performer (head of the troupe).
- Captain of the guard.
- Performer.
- Guard.
- Merchant.
- Labourer (cook, stage hand, etc).
However, you may use characters with other roles if you wish.
HOW WE USE S'REN-JA
The Clanmther's House) is the central hub for roleplaying. The area near the door is a reception area. The urns in this area are flower pots with flowers in them. The kitchen and nearby table serve as both a kitchen and dining area for all member of the troupe to use and as a tavern. Just below the stairs is a lounge. At the top of the stairs where the dividers is a second lounge.
The upstairs area with the desk is an open office. The upstairs wardrobe contains various costumes for performances. The bedroom on the second floor is the bedroom of Vara and her mate. The first section has a wardrobe and cupboards. The third and fourth floors are an inn that contains bathrooms and replicas of the bedroom.
The stables are used as a stable and guard house. The open building with kegs and barrels is a wet storage area, though In Character it has a door. The locked building is a dry storage area. Kalari's house is a place for study and offices for merchants. It also has a basement with rooms that are a replica of the bedroom on the second floor. These are for any member of the guild to sleep in. The NPCs in town are all gone and the farms are abandoned dust fields.
We are also going to use Hadran's Caravan for performances.
