Why did ZOS nerf the rez speed.

    Prolly because it was stupidly OP. I run it on my magicka DK as its a great magicka set with the extra spell damage. For me the quicker rez is a bonus but in the hands of a good Templar its a gamechanger as being able to pretty much insta rez your team can turn a loss into a win pretty fast.

    something has changed I know this for real. It is now longer than 2.5 seconds with full rez bonuses. its been nerfed....

    As far as I know, it still works.
    But remember that your support passive that gives increased rez speed doesn't work outside of Cyrodiil, or in the Imperial City, so rezzes in those places will be slower.

    If anything was to be changed on that set, then it should be the Spell damage!

    I'm in pvp on the keep map I have been using this set for a year I know it has changed. something is wrong.

    But seriously, if it has indeed been nerfed, it's because that dude or dudette brought up some "Kag's the new FCs" concern. That is the only reason. If not, I doubt Zeni would've noticed.

    Disabling the grass may improve performance.

    Perhaps it has not been nerfed, but a min rez time has been added.

    can anyone confirm what the full resurrection time is without any buffs and being a non Templar. I'm thinking its like 10 to 12 seconds.

    Templar Restoring Light, Master Ritualist -20%
    Alliance War, Support -30%
    Kagrenac's hope -25%

    Total -75%

    12 second -75% = 3.0s
    10 second -75% = 2.5s
    8 second -75% = 2.0

    would like to see something actual but at present in pvp on the keep map its taking 3.0 seconds to resurrect when prior to Monday it was 1.5 seconds. I would like to see if anyone can confirm this changed and have ZOS respond to it.

    That would be rubbish.
    Another Templar skill that gets replaced by an ingame item, and guess what... again Restoring Light tree.
    (You hardly keep anything useful in that tree if they indeed don't stack.)

    Where were you rezzing people? Remember, you dont get your support passives in IC so it may seem like its not working but really youre just not getting the increase rez speed passive.

    Or at leat i speculate all of this.

    I didn't notice anything last night, but I was only in for a short period and only had one rez. I also don't have the alliance passives on this templar. Did you have anyone else test this? Or did you try without Kag's? Also, what is your Kag's setup? I've been running 4 v16 and 1 v15 due to a crafting mistake I've been too lazy to correct; this seems to have saved me from the increased damage while wearing Kag's bug.

    They probably made it multiplicative. So if it is 8 seconds(?) no more (.25) * 8= 2 but rather (.7) * (.75) * (.8) * 8 = 3.36.

    Which makes sense since all other reductions in the game stack like this. Otherwise you have to be very careful you don't wind up with 100% reductions (mitigation in particular).

    It makes no sense to make it multiplicative, because if you had more than one bonus it would actually increase the time it takes to rez versus just having one bonus.

    You got your maths wrong. It's (1-.25), (1-.3), and (1-.2)

    Or in other words a total 58% reduction, not the current 75% reduction.

    Would be nice if they nerfed it. Been running into 60man zerg raids where everyone is wearing Krag's Hope, and it seems there strategy is to just res each other faster than you can kill them all until you get bored and leave or something. They don't even really fight back.

    I can honestly say my resurrection speed seems as fast now as it did when I first put on the set 4 weeks ago. Like around 3 seconds. That's Templar passive full, Krags set and only 1/2 for Alliance rank passive.

    I would not be surprised though if they did nerf it to be multiplicative rather than additive. Not only to prevent dangerous outcomes like 100% reductions but also to allow for future development.
