[vWGT] - Anyone else experiencing a general drop in player interest?

[EP][EU] Templar Healer

Been doing approx a vaults worth of runs each day I am able to log in. New to the game (started late July 2015) and did almost zero PvE Dungeons until the IC Patch. Only interested in the Spell Power Cure 5 piece set bonus. Then hopping back into PvP.

Of the percentage of players able to group and complete this Dungeon in vet mode, has anyone noticed a drop in interest in the community? I hearing mainly due to poor drops and drop rate?

It's the drop rates and the difficulty. Quite a few players are unable to complete the dungeon due to either being on a mac, or because it hasn't been heavily nerfed yet.

As for the drop rates, in probably atleast 3 days total of grinding, I have gotten 2 pieces of spell power(well fitted), 3 pieces of overwhelming (2 from vault opening, wel fitted and reinforced) and 2 pieces of essence thief(reinforced and sturdy), aka the decent sets from WGT. Me and my guildies all have atleast 5 pieces of imperium and shock master though, seems like these sets are notably easier to get. It's just not worth the grind for something thats going to be fixed eventually. In the meantime i can make a few million gold selling tel var stones, v16 mats and trophies. It's just not worth the time anymore to spend hours to get a drop aside from a harvest dirk or lost hatchet, that will probably be the wrong set, with the wrong trait anyways.

You can't even do anything but decon them because they're all bop

Well Said. Though I appreciate the difficulty to a degree, there are a couple steel traps that stop a bit more people from doing these. VWGT for instance: a fight that negates melee....and a fight that overloads the healer. The Plane Inhibitor with the permanent standard and the pinion that requires a healer to one shot portals while throwing big heals. To much, imo.
The rest is as you say, the grind is real and not profitable. Not like there is a trial to get this gear for anyways....

I'm glad I did them on Normal level to see what they are like. They are really fun to do and look incredible. Personally I just don't have the time to waste 3 hours trying to complete 1 Vet dungeon. Our group could complete 4 of any other Vet dungeons out there and get tons of the new materials to decon in the same amount of time to try and complete one of these.

From the sounds of it, it's just not worth trying to complete these dungeons that take hours for crappy drops. With such low drop rates and the addition of Orsinium next month, these may end up being empty dungeons which is sad considering they've only been out a month.....
