Scroll Running - Death by slaughterfish

Okay so earlier to prevent us from recapturing our scroll the yellow scroll runner killed himself by jumping into the river. Doing so made it impossible for us to recapture our scroll and it inevitably reset to the keep it was in previously. Just before that happened they managed to secure a red scroll in the same keep and now there's two scrolls in one keep. I don't even.

Naming? Absolutely. Shaming? Nope. They were fun. Especially the time he dropped it in the lava south of Rayles

Yeah don´t even know where to start. There was a guy who was AD This same guy basically took all the scrolls back to enemies. He found out that he can drag enemies into keeps by using chains. This way AD scrolls were taken without siege. You can guess that chains got nerfed thanks to these tricks.

Two nights ago i kept getting those "xxx has captured the scroll of ..." messages while PvEing for some missed achievements.

They kept popping up very frequently so i went and checked the Cyrodiil map and there were 3 AD toons with a scroll each camping at the southern DC temple.

Not really sure what was going on there but i have my suspicions ...

Can you still Take Flight on to keep walls? Haven't seen any DK's attempt this lately wonder was it fixed.

bruh i can confirm that still applies even now lol. i've been seeing that in game when the emperor is a DK and want to take control of the keep way faster by leaping using that skill, have you seen like 5 Dk in a group that leaps into the keep from the edge with the help of enemies, man its like a SWAT version in ESO not sure where they are atm but that was a good memory for the battle.

Awesome, I'm not even a DK and I don't want it fixed. It's seriously entertaining to watch!

The slaughterfishing of scrolls is inane, and I'd love to see ZOS implement something to make it stop. Some thoughts:

    1. If you slaughterfish a scroll of an opposing faction, it immediately resets to the correct Scroll Temple. In other words, you just helped them regain a scroll.

    2. If you slaughterfish a scroll of your own faction, it immediately resets to the keep from which it was taken. If said keep already has a scroll in it, it resets to the closest available empty keep of an opposing faction.

I'm still trying to come up with ideas to prevent the blatant cheating I've seen: logging on characters of one faction, who then pick up scrolls from keeps and run them into enemy territory, so that they can then log into characters of that enemy faction and place the scrolls.

Yeah, i think you're right. You definitely had the scroll at some point.

If it's allowed in the game mechanics it's unfortunately not cheating however I would like to see it fixed too. It's pretty unsportsmanlike like.

Nightblades can still jump into keeps with you.
