Should I concentrate my Nord Dragonknight on my chosen 2H, or also Bow too for ranged play?

Firstly I am new to this for just the last few days - though not new to Elder Scrolls and have played each and every one of them since chapter 1 Arena back in the 90's. But this game is a bit different to previous chapters I am finding in Race\Class decision then coupled with Crafting options and what weapons, or magic even.
It feels so vast for making a choice as to which way to take my first dude!

But right now I am going forward with my Lvl7 Dragonknight Nord and have been so far just using Heavy Armour, a 2H Greatsword, Stonefist and Soultrap.
Like I say previous ES Ganes felt like you quickly knew where to take your character and the time and work was in doing so. But with ESO I am still feeling like a Chimpanzee in a world of mankind the time of StarTrek!!

Soooo my current and first question on here ..... Hi everyone............ Is should I just concentrate on 2H and whatever magic abilities my Nord Dragonknight can use or should I throw in some focus on developing him to be a Bowman as a secondary option for attack?

Good questions, and I was also asking the same sort of things not long ago. I'd say do what you feel you will enjoy. But as for focusing, what I was doing originally was the same as you, 2H, Heavy Armour, and bow as secondary. Then after asking around and reading up on things, I soon found out that I should be using medium armour, and actually going for a damage build, rather than a tank, and its working great for me. This was mainly because I was technically creating a tank character, and yet that's not how I was wanting to play. (Didn't even know what tank meant until I started looking all these terms and things up for this game, or general MMO terms I should say )

Started using appropriate skills, maxing out my medium armour for the passives, but still carrying a little bit of heavy armour, just for some extra protection. And also most of my attribute points are now going in stamina rather than health.

Edit: My character is also Dragonknight Nord.
