Would Silver n Gold quests have been better if released like Orsinium scaled content?

Because Orsinium content scales from level 10-VR16, would silver and gold content have benefited from a similar setup if the scaling started at 45 or VR1?

No, I like them as they are with VR limitations

I personally would've liked to see the alternate alliances done in how Orsinium seems to work per the presentation

Poll does not cover the truth to me. Should it scale now? Perhaps. Should it have released that way, no. At one point it was a large portion of endgame. It wasn't the grind it is now imo.

I thought you were talking about the silver and gold pledges. Ignore me, it's late.

Depends. Do you share an instance in Orsinium? Does it scale the player or the content? If you can group in Orsinium, than it must be scaling players.

I still believe that you should reach level 50 before you go into these areas and then have it scaled so you can pick and choose what you want and when you do it. e.g I'm DC and AD is the next zones I've got to do but if I was to get bored with the AD zones I could go try out EP zones without having to complete the AD story and visa versa.

Gotcha so perhaps I should edit the post to suggest scaling begins around 45-VR1?

I didn't intend for it to be accessed prior to completing the main faction

What they are doing is clever. Scale everyone and content to vr14? 16?... whatever, cant remember. I would love to see this in the silver and gold areas so I can do all the quests and never outlevel them.

I would also like silver / gold to be unlocked so that you can go and do anything. Or failing that, just complete the silver once and not have to repeat it for every alt.

This is potentially a solution for what will happen when they remove Vet Ranks. And if that is the way it goes, I'd be quite happy with that.

As an altaholic with two accounts I would love to see this.

I love the game and the story is great, but once you've been through everything a few times, it does get a bit painful to level new characters. Once you get the hang of things it is very easy to to out-level the content. Let's face it, it's not much of a challenge to face mobs when your 4+ levels above them. Makes me long for the early days after launch, when even mudcrabs were something to be feared. ;)

Scaled content for silver and gold zones would at least bring a little of the challenge back for the "been there done that" crowd.

I always saw Gold and Silver as emergency endgame fix, now we have CP-system, IC, Craglorn, Orsinium and Cyrodil, maybe its just time to get rid off them. Also we all know journey is quite tedious in this game, same pattern in each zone almost, so lets do it.

If it always scales to you, you can never go to a zone you are underleveled for if you want a bit of a challenge.

Here's a little breakdown of the current Battle Levelling and how it could work once VRs are removed.

If Battle Levelling were directly input into the VR system:
    • Existing:
      • Cyrodiil - Content is VR14, Battle Levelled to VR14
      • Imperial City - Content is VR16, Battle Levelled to VR14
      • Orsinium - Content is VR16, Battle Levelled to VR15
    • Suggested:
      • Silver Zone 1 - Content is VR1, Battle Levelled to VR2.
      • Silver Zone 2 - Content is VR2, Battle Levelled to VR2.
      • Silver Zone 3 - Content is VR3, Battle Levelled to VR3.
      • Silver Zone 4 - Content is VR4, Battle Levelled to VR3.
      • Silver Zone 5 - Content is VR5, Battle Levelled to VR3.
      • Gold Zone 1 - Content is VR6, Battle Levelled to VR7.
      • Gold Zone 2 - Content is VR7, Battle Levelled to VR7.
      • Gold Zone 3 - Content is VR8, Battle Levelled to VR8.
      • Gold Zone 4 - Content is VR9, Battle Levelled to VR8.
      • Gold Zone 5 - Content is VR10, Battle Levelled to VR8.
      • Craglorn - Content is VR12, Battle Levelled to VR11.

Now assume that VRs are gone and everything is visibly Level 50. References to difficulty numbers here are indicative only, and not a visible statistic.
    • Silver Zone 1 - Content Difficulty is 1, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Silver Zone 2 - Content Difficulty is 2, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Silver Zone 3 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 3.
    • Silver Zone 4 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Silver Zone 5 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 1.
    • Gold Zone 1 - Content Difficulty is 1, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Gold Zone 2 - Content Difficulty is 2, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Gold Zone 3 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 3.
    • Gold Zone 4 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Gold Zone 5 - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 1.
    • Craglorn - Content Difficulty is 2, Battle Levelled to 1.
    • Cyrodiil - Content Difficulty is 2, Battle Levelled to 2.
    • Imperial City - Content Difficulty is 3, Battle Levelled to 1.
    • Orsinium - Content Difficulty is 2, Battle Levelled to 1.
With this system, there is progression (as each stage of Silver/Gold is more difficult than the previous one), but there is no level-based requirement for the content. Battle levelling scales the difficulty for you based on that content's intended difficulty taken independently, and not based on an arbitrary Veteran Rank.

    Mudcrabs should always be feared!

What happens in Tamriel stays in Tamriel. Except mudcrabs, that sh## will follow you home.

Except no zone content is really challenging. I can go to a zone +8 levels and its not challenging. Fights take forever, but not really challenging. I guess some world bosses can be though.

I see your point though. At least you can make it less of a faceroll.

Maybe have a slider to adjust your battle level +1 to -5 would help
