Battle leveling for Dungeons?

So it seems like the lfg tool is going to battle level characters in dungeons. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am currently attempting to level a nb healer alt. I'm rather new to mmo's and the only role I've ever experienced was dps. I wanted to try something different, and worst case scenario I can just convert to a fotm magica nb dps. Since this is a completely new play style, I'm not simply grinding towards v16. I actually wanted to do multiple quests and dungeons throughout the leveling process so I could experiment with various abilities I had not touched before. You know, play the game as intended since you guys nerf grind spots. What is the point of this if my character is going to be battle leveled to v15 in dungeons? There is no actual learning experience if I'm using fake stats. How am I supposed to tweak my build and ideas through the levels unless I can use real stats and make decisions accordingly based on how the game plays out? You can not make battle leveling mandatory for the group finder. It needs to be an option just under the decision to make the dungeon veteran or not. I might as well grind to v16 if my character is going to be scaled as I certainly won't be learning anything as far as endgame dungeons go. I'll just sit there and heal the 30k health, 20k stamina, 20k magicka vet 1 stamina dps I guess...

Hopefully someone who is more rationale than I and does not upset as easily read the patch notes more thoroughly and I'm simply misunderstood in my line of thinking. I would really like to be wrong on this.

Battle leveling for pve content defeats the idea of progression. Remove CP

    Being its near impossible to find a group using the lfg tool this is a much needed change. If you form a group normally, outside of lfg, the dungeons will be the same as they are now. If you want to test your build don't use the lfg tool to do dungeons, just group with friends or guildies to do them. Did you not read the entire post on the lfg and dungeon updates?

    Did you even read the patch notes on how the new battle lvling system will work?

    @MikeB What does battle leveled dungeons have to do with finding a group? Also as a healer I've found finding groups is rather easy on ps4 na at the lower levels. Daggerfall Covenant nonetheless. Not saying the lfg couldn't use improvements, but your talking to the wrong guy on that one.

    @SleepyTroll So they supposedly fixed the battle level formula to make it scale better. That doesn't change the fact that the stats will still be fake. I thought the whole point of dungeons scaling was so things could be done at your level. An aside, since we know ZOS loves to give people 20k health, there goes the market for any food item under v15 since everyone will be scaled.

    It has everything to do with it, because the battle leveling is only for groups put together with the LFG tool. It's directly intended to make finding a group using the tool easier. If you form a group with friends, guildies, or just random folk hanging around without using the LFG tool, there won't be any battle leveling and it will be scaled exactly the same way it is today.

    @J2JMC what they ^ said. Dungeon battle leveling only happens if you use the LFG tool to find your group.

    It will be interesting to see if it will be possible to group with specific people (friends, guildies etc.) AND have battle levelling enabled.
