I'm on the same page as you. I have ap that's just sitting there.
How do all you guys have so much AP? Do you not repair walls and buy sieges? I mentioned in another post I went through 73k on repair kits and sieges on Saturday. I'm lucky enough to have 6k in my inventory on a good day

I pay gold for siege and repair kits (with the exception of Pact Ballista), in the hope that someday, something I want will cost AP.
Now I have a pile of gold and a pile of AP, just waiting for something to spend it on.

Not the biggest earner, but I float around in the top 10 on the leaderboards for my campaign because I'm quite active.

I played a BwB campaign and it was a blast, but a whole campaign being Empress and all I earned was about 800k, a lot less than what would have been earned on a Vet campaign :P

Most other motifs are found in PVE. They don't fall out of another players arse when you defeat them in PVP. It'll be nice not to have to grind for something for a change. I hope to god this doesn't go to the crown store, at least not for a long time.

Just because most of the other motifs have been based on grinding in pve, doesn't mean they need to subjugate pve'ers to a mode of gameplay that they simply dislike. Buy your motif frags with AP like the rest of the players with hundreds of hours devoted to pvp play and millions of AP, but let me buy a cosmetic item with cash if I so choose. I'll gladly feed ZoS's bottom line to look how I want.
Do not put this in Crown store. People who dont PvP simply do not get to have it. Its not Unfair, its a normal part of any MMO. In fact, go one step further, make it only wearable after a certain PvP ranking. XD
your welcome

Look what happened with the Glass motif - we don't want a repeat. I don't care if it goes into the Crown store eventually, but people should be given time to earn and enjoy it first before others can simply get it by doing nothing but throwing their credit card at ZOS.
I don't want to start a big thing, but let's look at the ridiculous amount of content PVE has had: The main game, and when we thought IC was going to be a PVP DLC we were gravely mistaken. You have to slog through PVE to get most of the gear. There's new gear in Orsinium, but guess what? Yeah, we'll have to PVE for that too. I can't help but feel we deserve something exclusive - even if it's just a style to say "I earned this in combat", not "I bought this in the crown store for fifty bucks".
