Hello,

I've been turning these crystals trying to get them to line up and destroy the receivers("Light from the Darkness" quest, AD-NA server) for over a half an hour and the light beam keeps dying before I make any progress. To me, this appears to be a glitch. I've watched other people do it in online videos in less than 5 minutes and I'm getting extremely frustrated. There is no reason these beams should keep going out before I make any progress and I'm not getting any answers anywhere. Can someone please tell me how I am to progress through this if the stupid light beams keep dying?????????

Just asking, you do now that when a pillar shines its light in the direction that you wanted, then you should stop pressing. Because if you keep pressing it then you rotate the light and it will shine in a different direction.

The light travel from the source so if the link to the source is broken then the rest will stop to direct the light further.

Yes....... but the beam of light keeps going away, even when I make progress.

I just recently completed this quest. What I did to complete it was after clicking on a crystal move to the other side and click that crystal and by the time you get back to the first crystal it's already in position. I'm not sure if they changed it to where it automatically keeps turning until it hits the light but that's how I completed it.

Funny I just did this quest, and found it equally annoying.

Whenever the light beam dies, go back to the last crystal it still gets to and rotate that crystal until the beam comes back.
DO NOT rotate crystals when the light beam is not hitting them; that will just mess you up.
As long as you don't rotate the other crystals, the light beam will come back to the furthest place you'd gotten to. Then go to the end of the beam and continue.

Took me about 20 minutes of running back and forth.

Oh, and every single time the beam dies, /bug it.

Crystal beams are still dying after progress is made (without touching the crystals in question). This has never happened before on any of my other characters doing this quest.

This glitch is really irritating since it's tied to the main storyline.
