Yeah, giving some challenging content to the players who don't want to group up, which is also appealing to players who sometimes group and sometimes solo is a terrible idea! Everyone must be forced to always play the way you want if they want to do any challenging content!Lord Xanhorn wrote: »A solo trial? Is this even an MMO? MMOs by definition are multiplayer. Something for everyone. If you don't like it, you don't have to do it. Some of us like to play by ourselves sometime as well as in a group depending on our mood.

I guess I must have missed the part where the launch details said that you're forced to do this solo arena, even if you have no interest in it.

Your argument collapses on itself since you are arguing for a variety of different options and this entire DLC is solo. You are simply arguing against yourself. My argument is that sure a few solo options would have been nice but an entire solo DLC for 25 bucks is a terrible idea.

This. It's fun to test out my character in all sorts of different environments. A solo trial sounds awesome!

... the entire DLC is certainly not solo - did you watch the stream?
New public dungeons (*cough* public *cough*), and you can do the entire zone as a group, excluding the one, single solo arena.

Another not so great representation of facts. I could take a raid group of 24 v16 characters questing in Auridon, but that doesn't make it fun.
Translation: Just because you can do the public dungeons in a group doesn't mean that will be fun.
