@ 32k Tel Var Stones and now there are 18 new sets coming?

I mean its cool that there is new content but if I'm just going to have to grind out a new zone in 2 months...

Getting new sets helps you get newer sets. Standard stuff here. Think people just got used to things being stagnant while they focused on getting consoles launched. Glad to see the pace picking up!

Not to mention....that IC was listed as a more PVP DLC therefore one could argue that there are people who don't have access to the gear in IC either because they chose not to buy the DLC because they didn't want the PVP or bought it but haven't really gone into it for a number of reasons. This next DLC is clearly meant for PVE players so yes it logical that new sets be introduced.

The new sets might not replace your gear either. You might like that set bonus you have now and find no benefits from the set bonuses of the new gear.

I get why you'd want that. If they are going to throw dlc after dlc after dlc at us though it would be nice if they stabilized PvP so that dedicated pvpers don't have to spend all their time grinding out gear in PvE zones.

And this is why I didn't get too settled in with these IC sets. Same with these new ones, if I REALLY like one I will go all out to get it... otherwise I'll find a good substitute and wait for the next DLC to drop.

New Sets != Better Sets, but it does mean more options. Your Scathing Mage or whatever will still probably be the best for your current build because you've designed your current build around the bonuses it gives. The new sets might open up options for a new playstyle based on the different bonus types, or you might want to stick with your current selection. A real "if it ain't broke" scenario. But I'm sure the testers and experimenters will be having a field day.

Now that i think about it, all the tel var set's and jewlery set's were just v16 placement set's for us to waste our time on.

Now hopefully all these new set's will be great. Also all the v14 set's that have not scaled to v16 may scale to v16.

Hopefully this is the case and the pvp development team spent some good time getting new imaginative gear set's in the work's. As well as getting the old one's all fixed up.

I hope you realize that there are only a few places to grind gear atm and the amount of gear is terribly low so please stop complaining when you are given more content. I mean I hate to solo arena, but not the gear that it is gonna provide.

Is that true? Is the pace picking up? Total subscriber count would separate the savages from the gorillas.

In a word, "yes." Or for the more conservative-minded, "probably."

I have a feeling Orsinium will be the more interesting DLC because IC sets are pretty crappy.
