Why talons and not all roots?
Well i agree maybe all roots should be looked at. I have seen people using encase to the same effect. What happens is one person repeat casts the ability and his friends attack while you are permanently immobilized.Edited by BaldusMageezack on October 5, 2015 4:58PM0 -

✭✭✭✭Efficient purge costs less than talons and reduces it's duration if it's cast again. Let him cast it again. It does almost no damage and you are not disabled. The only reason to fear it is if you are in some actual glasscannon build, which these days there is no reason to even have glass with your cannon.
Why should I have to incur 0 magicka recovery or increased cost for a skill that is immediately evacuated. How does that make any sense. I cast one of our higher costs skills, you instantly roll out of it and I incur a penalty, yeah that's exactly what the magicka DK needs right now.

Then you can recast your purge, shade, bolt escape, hell even dodge roll. I don't even play DK and I think this skill should be made unblockable like how it used to be until ZOS of course messed it up. You just need to l2p and stop complaining about everything that you don't like. There are far more overpowered and annoying things that other classes can do.Invictus

Then you can recast your purge, shade, bolt escape, hell even dodge roll. I don't even play DK and I think this skill should be made unblockable like how it used to be until ZOS of course messed it up. You just need to l2p and stop complaining about everything that you don't like. There are far more overpowered and annoying things that other classes can do.

Provide the source. Because the screen shots i have here show totally different numbers
Aside from that it's pretty high up in the support skill line before you unlock the counter to these skills. The rest simply don't seem to remove roots not sure if bugged or if intentional. Not everyone has access to alchemy right away either.Edited by BaldusMageezack on October 5, 2015 5:22PM0 -

I don't know what class you are right now but if there is a 'knock back' skill you could apply it may help give a small gap to effectively fight back? I personally don't believe there's an issue with the skill but can understand the frustration of being hit multiple times by alternating DKs 1 -

I could try that maybe it will give me a chance at least. I'm definitely unlucky because i run solo but 90% of the time it's no problem. Like i said before if one guy does it to me i'll spam a gap closer until he gives up but when people use it in a group it becomes a bit unreasonable.1 -
