just spent 25$ getting crowns hoping to get a great mount early on. only thing is I haven't found anywhere saying that any mounts are different from each other other than esthetically. can a tone back this up one way or the other?

They are all the same. They used to be different until the collectible system and player riding skill was introduced, but not anymore. That seems to be common misinterpretation of old information.

Mounts USED to be different. They had different stats and you would feed your horse everyday to increase those stats. Now, you train your character but you can use 1 horse in particular with any characters. The stats will be different with each character because you have to train your character, not the horse.

Yeah man, its 25 bucks for aesthetics only. There is no difference between any of them. There are no hidden stats.

i do not know, @istateres and @Epona222 are probably right. but i always thought my mounts were different. eg my limited addition cheeta/leopard w/e it is is far faster and has more stamina than my horse (imo). it can definately jump further. One costs 2500 crowns one cost 700 crowns. So id like to think if i paid as much for it as i would for DLC then its got better stats.

I was told there are hidden base stats on the mounts. At least for the non crown store mounts have eg 40k horse over 10k horse. and the three 40k horses having different focus (speed/stam/capacity). but thisis only rumour i cannot confirm anything but my own experience indicates there are indeed differences between some mounts.

If you didn't already, I would spend my Crowns on the Imperial Upgrade. With that one, you get a free nice horse and mucha extras.

No, they are all the same.
Character riding skill may differ, but functionally the horses are all identical.
The stables one that is 10k gold is a hangover from when horses used to have different stats, but it is no different now than the 40k ones.
