Console player here, i used to be a magicka DK but since last update i became stamina because i feel magicka is useless now. With the damage reduction my whip wasnt doing much damage anymore, green dragons blood became useless in pvp, talons are blockable, the magicka DK lacks a gap closer but the worse part is noy having a good finisher.

I really miss the flame lash, the talons and most of all the reflective scales. I only use three DK skills in my current build... hopefully console players will experience the power of magicka DK like pc players had before the updates.

That is not true, just dont go swordnboard.

Tanky DKs and OP dmg is just no more, adapt and use Destro/Resto or DW/Resto

Not saying DK tanks aren't good, I miss my stam DK currently working to get him up, but since I'm dark elf, it's more ideal for me to be magic, and magic DKs aren't extinct. I fight a lot of tank DKs and I guess they're messing up on their CP or items or something because most of the time they die.
(Build it correctly then they're OP. But if not done correctly you're just a target that the smart players will ignore)
Imo

Either are great, stam obviously a bit better, though I still run a magicka dk in pvp but its different than before. Solo in Imperial city I run dual wield/resto. Open world I still use sword and board resto. In groups s/b destro. It can work it's just much harder, but a fun challenge:).
