Being able to toggle bound armor off. replacement visual que explained.

so we have alot of folks (me included) who want to turn off bound armors visual look so we can see the nice set we wear under it but many people complain that without the visual it gives no hint to the fact you are using the spell. why why not give it a shocking pulse sort of effect similar to inner magelight and instead of it being shock effects it'll be daedric symbols pulsing across the char? that way its visual but doesnt hide your base armor.

Although bound equipment historically in the eso series replaces your equipment visuals.

Minimum the option to disable would be nice.

They could make it more like bound weapons in skyrim whice turn you into a translucent purple-blue with whispy fire like animations.

It's fine whatever does the trick, but why does it matter if people can see if we have the effect on? is it a PvP issue?

yeah saddly, alot of people like being able to see what the enemy has on since you can see most skills that are on self like DK's flappy wings, Temp bubbles, NB stuff, etc, they all give off visuals and toggles are no acception so it's needed and honestly alot of people dislike hiding their whole body under the bound set, so i'd rather rename it "Daedric Protection" or something and bound armor being some sort of ulti in the future of skill lines.

that way it makes sense to have some sort of pulse effect.

Costumes and disguises already hide the bound armor effect, so saying that there has to be a visual effect for bound armor is not a valid argument against the implementation of a "hide bound armor effect" option.

Agree. The visual cue argument doesn't stand up anyway as you can just wear a costume over it to hide it.

I love bound armor, but actually I think it would make more sense as a clicky, and not a toggle. If you look at past TES games, it was always a clicky that lasted for xyz duration. In this way your actual armor would have a place, and the clicky bound armor ie: summoned armor, would also have a place. Personally, I think the new artwork for bound armor is fantastic, and really fits the spirit of the armor in a much better fashion than it has done in the past of ESO.
