Critical? Or Weapon Damage?

Thinking of setting up my stamina NB for V16 gear and wondering whether I should concentrate on maximizing critical strikes or weapon damage.
I already have an idea of what to use and
TBH im a Breton so I can't maximize either way. Im just wondering what you all think. I plan on spending a lot of time in Imperial City above and below ground.

Focus on weapon damage as it is the raw damage your stamina skills is based off of. Doing both is ideal, but when you're starting off, I would go with weap dmg (consistent dmg).

Weapon damage also affects your crit damage as your crit is a percentage of your base damage... always weapon power before weapon crit.

You're Brenton and want to run stam nb? That's not a stamina race or a race I would ever recommend.
Reroll as Redgaurd, Bosmer, Khajiit or Imerpial. Even an Orc if you want to run faster than a bolting sorc.

Balance it out, you need lots of stam to skill, dodge and breakfree.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

While true... Breton is not a 'stamina' race, however, not everyone plays this game to min/max... some play just to have fun. There are Magicka spells in NB as well, and one can add Max Stam/Stam Recovery through crafted gear sets, jewelry, etc.

If you don't have weapon damage, there is no seance to bust it with critical chance. :P
    Still waiting for Sithis.

Both, it doesnt matter much, you can kill almost everything, some templars can outheal themselves, or some tanks just are unkillable. My point is that in the end, gears matters so little.

I like what your doing here the pasives from the breton will help the magica skills that usually end up on a nightblade bar and give you some options other nightblades may not have. Sap essence, cloak, funnel health, cripple, double take, mark target, grim focus, and summon shade are all magica based skills even stam NB'S find usefull at one time or another.

Passives from Breton will help your regen and magica damage which will be a nice balance. You will loose out out stam stacking but you can use champion points, enchants and gear sets to mitigate that loss a little bit. Plus and I'm not 100 % sure on this most ulimates at least the ones I use routinely soul tether, Dawbreaker, Swarm are based off magica damage and any non stam self healing you do will benfit also.

    I like it.

To answer your question weapon damage over crit but try to balance them out.

I can't find a single truth in this statement... can anyone else?
