Magicka DK Resource Management

For my magic DK I'm running 3 spell damage glyphs on my jewelry but its kind of hard to sustain myself so i wanted to know if i should enchant one with reduce cost or magic recovery? For my champ points I put 32 in reduce cost and 55 in recovery.

    If ur doing pvp u can try using drinks. I prefer using drinks on my STAM dk for pvp and go max stat for pve. But yes if u find it hard to sustain you should swap out the spell damage for regen. Not too sure about magicka but I'm running 2.3k stam regen on my dk with drinks.

    (2)V16 Sorc- mag dps/stam dps
    (2)V16 nb- stam dps/mag dps
    (1)v16 temp- mag tank/mag dps
    CP: 610 and counting

    Cost reduction jewelry enchantments are extremely valuable for resource management. You might also try to get the Bloodspawn undaunted set to increase your ultimate generation, which will allow you to take advantage of Battle Roar more frequently.

    What gear you are using at the moment? There's Seducer, which gives you an 8% cost reduction on all magicka abilities, or Willow's Path that gives you 15% regen on all stats while in combat.
    Since the update I generally try to build more on cost reduction and sustainability instead of pure damage. It's up to you, but personally I've just had a better experience all round.
    As Lefty mentioned, you want to try and get your ultimate generation up to proc Battle Roar. It's one of the best advantages DKs have in my opinion - take advantage of it ;) With that and cost reduction on magicka abilities, you'll definitely be having a better time. Sure, your damage might not be as high, but what's the point in having high spell damage when you can't use it?

    On my sorc regen glyphs seem to be better value than spell damage glyphs. Yesterday I tried swapping out my only regen glyph for a spell damage glyph, lost about 250 regen but only gained the tooltip value for the spell damage glyph. Immediately switched it back, it was an expensive test.

    Back in 1.6 I ran with all 3 cost reduction and had 1700 regen, 47cp in magician, and never ran out of magicka. Now I have no cost reduction glyphs, still have 47cp in magician but now have 1900 regen and I occasionally run out of magicka in long fights. If you have cp in arcanist then regen glyphs are very good value.

    Regarding CP's - u should go all in cost reduction till u reach 100. If u do pve than use elemental drain on your targets . Use pots and banner at least 10 seconds apart. If u do all this - u will not have problem with magic management.

    Right now I'm running 5 piece Magnus,3 Willpower,1 Molag ken, 1 Skoria, and a tours destro, and I'm doing this setup for pie and i might do 4 magnus so i can run 2 tours for the spell damage.

    Okay I'm going to try it and what mundus are you running i tried the thief but idk if i should run the mage for the magic
