    Simply put. 1 Det should not destroy a Zerg. You need to group up with multiple people and Det like 5 of them. That will do the trick.

    Think about pvE aswell when suggesting to remove the damage increase cap ... make it PvP only and I aggree!

    Also, the code is already able to distinguish whether the incoming damage is coming from a player or from an NPC (pvp sets which reduce damage taken from enemy players by 5%), so it should be possible to program so that it only affects enemy players.

    The radius for evaluating enemy numbers (NOT the explosion radius of effect) needs to be much larger, something in the range of 28m like BoL radius.

    Base damage of 5k seems perfect.

    The damage needs to scale strongly for larger numbes. Up to 4 enemies, no scaling. 4 to 8 enemies, damage increased by 5% for each one, meaning everyone is hit by 5k + ( 20% to 40%). If 8 to 12 enemies, 10% for each. More than 12 enemies 20% for each.

    Damage is the same for every target. One evaluation of numbers, similar to LOS check.

    Examples:
    1 player = 5000
    3 players = 5000 each
    6 players = 5500 each ( 5. & 6. player each add 5%)
    10 players = 8000 each (5. to 10. player each add 10%)
    15 players = 16000 each (5. to 15. player each add 20%)

    Now you got yourself a zergbuster.

    Maybe at the 15+ or 20+ level maybe have it to add major protection and or vitality to group members(up to a max of 10) for 12 seconds?

    No ignoring of game mechanics. Shields, mitigation is essential. If the devs implement crap that ignores these things, they just show that they are incompetent. As said by someone above. 1 shouldn't be able to blow up a zerg, but 5 should. 5 times 16k is enough to blast through shields and mitigation.

    You have to remember they have stated in past live episodes that they don't like open field battles, they want players to take or hold keeps. That plus the fact that they marketed PvP over and over again saying 200 people on one screen. With all sides at equal numbers that's 66 people per alliance 100 per in a two sided fight.

    Those are huge Zerg numbers this was their "vision".

    nowhere in that vision does it say they all have to be in a small ball tho. a screen is more than 8 metres.

    He is asking for an increase in damage only against a large, stacked up group. Care to explain how this is helping zergs?

    Actually, I've found the opposite using inevitable destruction. Against a loose zerg, it's not much unless you have a large group behind you as well. But against that follow the crown purge and prox det blob, well last time earned me 16 more kills to my player bounty quest.

    You just need to not be in the direct path and to spam it on multiple players as best you can. In fact, if you roll out at a 90 degree angle and they run past you, you can pretty much just run behind them casting it. But it is usually best to cast it from the flank, which you achieve by speading out and not being in the large concentration of players. Also pick your targets in the middle of the pack if it looks like you might lose line of sight or range. Give yourself a cushion to account for cast time. Best of luck.

    I've been trying to get this skill for months x.x I can pretty much run around inside a zerg and I think I could actually be a zerg breaker lol... but seriously it being rank 7 sucks. u want these zergers to cringe? make it a automatic skill like the soul gem filler skill :D Zergs solved right there o.o

    IE if every level 10 scrub could spam this shiznick... good bye safety in numbers zergs. if I could be standing in IC and be like okay guys slot ur Detonation Zerg is coming our way... I'm 90% sure it would be an insane deterrent.

    In it's current form it's useable by zergballs just as well as anyone else. Since it is even harder to play solo or in small groups now, only relatively few of those who haven't unlocked Magicka Detonation yet are even trying or would stand a chance outnumbered anyway. So this change would rather strengthen zergs.

    I'm pretty certain most players don't have magicka det unloked.
