Give dem stamina templars old radiant aura and old blazing shield, then watch them shine in the sun again.
Those two were perfect magicka dump for us.

Can you imagine the old Radiant Aura now though? 80% increase in stamina regen would mean every stamplar with somewhere near 1500 stamina regen walking around with nearly 3000 stamina regen 100% of the time. Maybe even more depending on how the calculation is done.

It would be ridiculous. It would mean you could ignore stamina regen in your build completely and max out damage without a second thought.

That's definitely true. But instead of adjusting the skill to be in line with new game play, they made it completely useless. Radiant Aura now gives the same buff as a tri-stat potion lol. Same as with GDB, for example, than most DK's ditched as well. That secondary effect can be achieved with a green pot. GJ ZoS.

They really need to start tweaking skills without making them completely rubbish/unworthy of a skill point :disappointed:

Yeah honestly, since there are no more softcaps, it should definitely cut out by half at least. My point was to restore of its old glory, not to bring the exact same effect or numbers.
Because the current one is a joke.

Being a stamina Templar takes away Templar's primary defense in it's heals and gives it nothing in return. For a Stamina Templar most of our passives are useless, how is this fair at all? Give us more stamina options, make Honor the Dead a STAMINA heal or make it split it's cost with mana but scale on Stamina.

The annoying irony here is that the spirit of the class was to have heavy armored knights in their shields or two handers as well as priests in robes. The entire Aedric Spear skill line screams warrior, much like Draconic Power does for DK. In both cases the two classes have improved block resistance skills. The problem is that blocking is so significantly weaker than it was which really hurts the tank and warrior specs built for stamina. Templar's passives do not benefit heals, unlike every other class in the game. They have individual buffs that are narrowly defined to Restoring Light. The problem again with this is that the Stamina Templar can't get the same bang for the buck out of Rally/Vigor but neither can he spam magical abilities as well. Ultimately, I think this means the Templar is better off in the magical role which is a big shame. I have been thinking since the beginning of the game that Nightblade and Templar needed fixes and rethinking. NB got its rethinking... I'm not so sure about Templar. They need to do something about the passives of the class that consider Stamina builds more seriously, and might consider making more Stamina morphs at least for the spear line, and quite possibly a melee/mid range stamina morph for Radiant Destruction. (I still wish we had a Blinding flashes).

Templar thread, i think even forum mods don't read them let alone devs.

Templars need reworking, many useless abilities, most of the passives works only if you wear dress and resource management- don't have one! No skill allows templars to regain stamina or magicka in combat, Repentance is situational ability if bodies around only then resources gained.

Some men just want to watch the world burn... I just want a cold beer!

everytime i use repentance i realise that its useless because the fights allready ended. Usually with all the zergs its 90% of the cases that all die at almost the same time or noone dies. One after another is no more.
