Good. Maybe they'll be able to iron out any bugs still le-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA couldn't even finish that sentence.

E: That only says for Xbox and PS4, PC will probably still get it in December. We'll go ahead and beta test it for you guys as a late Christmas gift.

Yes, it appears they're speculating based on the term "quarterly", which in business lingo very frequently corresponds to January, April, July, and ORCTOBER GET HYPE

I hope they are just speculating, which is why I tagged ZOS to confirm.

The reality is that ZOS promised FALL for Orsinium and first half of 2016 for the Theives and DB updates and there's no way they can keep those time frames unless Orsinium goes live on PC In Late November or first of December.

Sadly there is only one PS test server...its called live.

But you make sure you identify all the big bugs...that way we'll at least know if we need to stay clear of the DLC for six months or so while ZOS patches them ;)

The article says "expect to see". There's no official statement there at all, and the writers have just failed to extrapolate that exactly 1 quarter (3 months) from Imperial City would put it as mid December (on console) and end of November (on PC).

    Orctober... :D

I'd rather it be a bit late and relatively bug-free and extensively tested, than rushed out full of bugs and other nonsense, just to catch the Christmas trade.

Only if you want to play it. All DLC is purchased, but they will have non DLC stuff in it too.

Wouldn't we all. Sorry, that is NOT the ESO way. Instead, everything is tested on PTS, where bugs are reported, and then pushed to live with most bugs ignored. Expect to see new, bug-riddled DLC in your Xmas stocking. >:)

Didn't ZOS at one point also state that we could expect Orsinium sooner than the planned 'quarterly'? Could swear they said something along those lines about it coming shortly after IC.

They published IC on time, they will publish Orsinium more or less on time, but people if you think they will keep the every 3 months dlc promise you are delusional. They had over a year to make 2 of the above and even that was not enough to finish IC and it had to be gutted of the pvp content.

That statement doesnt really come in to play yet, DLC wasnt released because they worked on much more pressing issues.

Re-designing the core of the game from the ground up, re-designing how systems work, implementing fixes etc. People may laugh and say Zos does nothing, i could probably even be one of them. But when you think about everything altogether, all of the fixes, and changes, they have done a large amount since launch. Some may not agree with said changes etc etc, But thats not the point.

They did all these changes, fixes, building of systems and implements, while still releasing some forms of content over time, Sure the content wasnt a massive new trial, or an entire new zone. But it was still content, and for the time scale given to make said content, it wasnt all that small.

Time will tell, now that the release issues, and changes to how the core of the game worked are "Sort of" out of the way, they can perhaps starting to focus on content itself and bring it in quicker steps.

Regarding if certain Zos decisions are smarter than your average monkey, well, that's an entirely different topic. :#

Well they have to rewrite all combat mechanics take away magicka regen while in combat and make a token system for craglorn where you lose 90% of all your currencies if you die in a red circle, including your gold because then the game becomes more fun and interactive. What do you expect? Soon TM

IC broke the game on consoles.
It is obvious there was not enough time for Quality Assurance.

They probably do not want to make the same mistake with Orsinium.
I take this as a good sign.

I've never expected ZOS to deliver on that promise. Their history is riddled with delays. The idea that they would ever be able to consistently release large-scale content every 3 months was a laughable promise from the get-go.

All the bugs/issues on PC always make it live to console and take 2-3 months longer to fix once released. They ONLY thing they do from the PC release to console is tweak encounters, gear, skills, etc... No bugs are fixed, actually on console we usually get the bugs you have on PC and more!

Not enough people have left to make a financial impact on Zeni. If they plan on penetrating the Asian Market then expect their focus to be on that. And everyone else being a mere distraction. The level of bugs that people are willing to endure has been thoroughly tested on the PTS and Live.

    This game has taught me:

    1. Expect delays
    2. Redo my character everytime
    3. That there will be many bugs reported on PTS
    4. DLC will go live with bugs reported on PTS with addtional bugs added for good measure.

Such is life in Tamriel! :D

Hey guys! We'll be talking more about Orsinium very soon, but in the meantime you can rest assured that we still plan to release this DLC on PC and consoles before end of the year - not 2016.
