Xbox One - Champion Points Don't Work: ZOS fix please

I am on Xbox One on a stamina Nightblade. Thaumaturge is NOT working. I have a Stamina Nightblade, and my Killer's Blade hits for 3437 with no buffs on. I took 13 points out of Thaumaturge, and it still hits for 3437. I put 5 points in Mighty just in case ZoS decided to to make Killer's Blade scale of physical damage, and nope it stayed the same but my other numbers went up on Surprise Attack, Steel Tornado, etc... I put another few points in Thaumaturge and it still hits for 3437.

However, my friend tested Thaumaturge on his Sorc and Crystal Frags and it is working. If this is a Nightblade glitch, please look into it and fix it. This is a HUGE hindrance to damage on Nightblades.

Also, my Templar is unaffected by Thaumaturge's damage as well. Get ZoS to notice this, please. This is a huge dps loss to magic nightblades and templars, as well as execute's for stam nightblades.

Looks like they're brilliant plan to not have damage numbers on console so players such as yourself can't expose their gross malpractice has failed.

Your move, developers.

Wouldn't suprise me if only half the champion point passives didn't work; there hasn't been a community audit on all champion point passives, until the community does this don't expect much.

Hopefully this gets fixed for Orsinium patch or at the very least, the Thieves Guild patch.

I did not test, I looked at the tooltip values, and yes, CP do effect tooltip values as Mighty worked for all of my Physical Damage skills.

But it doesn't change some stats, at least in stats in Cyrodiil do not change after I put a CP point in, well the one's I've looked at...

Hmmm I thought that people said tool tip doesn't reflect everything... i dunno

He has a very real and valid claim. How can anybody be certain the Champion Points actually work in this game?

Truth be told, Z could simply say they are a behind the scene buff that you will never see on the stat sheet but they do work. So therefore, it could be all for nothing. Maybe some buffs do work, maybe some don't.

Very good topic to discuss and research.

Who knows but if this is true I want it fixed ASAP. As someone who still likes playing a poison build stam NB this is a decent portion of my DPS. They go with a minimalist UI on console, with no numbers being added in sight, because they got called out to much on PC for stuff not working.

There are 2 ways that you can test these numbers. One involves running the game through the USB port and a laptop.

There are bots on console already that go through a laptop so it honestly isn't that hard to get the information you are looking for if you know what you are doing.

Drat! Grr i hate bots, my favorite xbox 360 game died due to hackers....

Its cool to check the info tho. I have no access to such things, but with the number of bugs ever since the IC drop it would be nice to know that they are actually working

There is another thread about Killer's Blade asking why it deals Magic Damage instead of Physical. Based on my testing the damage listed for Killer's Blade increases with Weapon Damage and not Spell Damage. As a result and based on the analysis this thread has provided it is clear now the tooltip is inaccurate and Killer's Blade actually deals Physical Damage as it is meant to.
