Build switches

Has there been any discussion of having the option to switch between builds as in Rift? It would make it so much more convenient for dungeons and even PVE/PVP switching. I'd love to have a dps plus a tank or healer build I could switch to on the fly, or at least once a day. Would pay for it as well. Only drawback seems to be grind time / gold sink aspects of the MMO.

I wouldn't mind that at all.
I use an addon callled saved skill sets which helps but this suggestion would be even better. Of course since setup is different in ESo it would have to look and function a bit differently but I like the concept behind it and would for sure use it to the full extent

If you are on the PC then there is an add-on that does gear and skill switching.

Bugger. Used to game PC but my son likes PS4 so switched over...Alas, although I do like the controller play in ESO.

You are right, it is convenient. Hey! That could be a crown store item. ha ha.

I love the PC addon that lets you do this very thing.

Yeah, there are 2 addons on PC that I use in combination for this: Wykkyd's Outfitter and Wykkyd's Macros (the latter just sets it so that I can activate the former by hitting one key without having to open up my inventory menu and my skills menu). The addons allow you to select certain pieces of gear to be in a gear set, and allow you to select a certain combination of skills on your skill bar to be in a skill set, and then load those sets.

I use it to swap between a magicka DPS setup, healer setup, and tank setup. Having something right in the game that does that would be great. I mean, the addons work perfectly fine, but naturally they're only for us PC gamers.
