Rapid ManeuversCan people not read? Snares are snares, immobilization are roots. Stuns, Fears, Knockdowns, and Disorients, are Stuns, Fears, Knockdowns, and Disorients, it's not bugged in anyway. Mist form on the other hand is bugged according to the description, as it does not give you Immunity to all control effects. Rapid however, is not suppose to give immunity to control effects, and works just as the description intends it too.
- Mobilize your forces, granting Major Expedition and Major Gallop to you and your allies, increasing Movement Speed by 40% and Mounted Speed by 40%.
- Also grants immunity to snares and immobilization.
- The effect ends if you initiate an attack.
You got wrecked, use an invisibility potion next time.

That power is a speed buff for me that's the only thing about it that works all the time.

sometimes, lately, i've had the speed buff itself not work.

Uhh, when I was knocked down, I was IMMOBILIZED... as in I could literally NOT MOVE.
I can read just fine, by the way. Don't blame players for misunderstandings caused by ZOS' utter refusal to write a proper rulebook or manual for their game.
It actually only provides immunity vs roots and imobilizations. Not hard cc like knockdown or fear. But even that is kinda buggy, ive been rooted before while having this "immunity" from casting shuffle. You still get rooted by Stampede

The root must have come from something else. Stampede only snares, it does not root.
Also, shuffle immunity is only 3.5 seconds (even tho the dodge buff lasts for 20+ seconds), and then only in 7/7 medium(if you have fewer medium pieces, the immunity duration is even shorter)

Yea sorry my bad there, I meant to say snare from Stampede. And that happens 1 sec after casting shuffle (i have this escape routine where I dodge with bow equipped to get major expedition and cast shuffle kinda while dodging). But I still seem to get rooted and snared, specially by stampede even if im supposed to have that immunity. (7 medium armor)

It's not a misunderstanding if you've played other MMOs and understand the basic combat mechanics, or you if you can read and understand basic grade school english, Rapid Maneuver grants immunity to Snares & Immobilization not Stuns, not Fear, not Disorients, you were likely targeted with Shield Charge, or Toppling Charge.Toppling Charge
- Charge with your divine lance to impale an enemy for Magic Damage and stun them for (1.5) seconds.
- Casting targets are set off balance for (5) seconds.
- Always STUNS and casting targets are set off balance.
Shield Charge
- Rush enemy and ram them, dealing [x] Physical Damage and STUNNING them for 2 seconds.
I wouldn't blame you if it wasn't right there in your tool-tip in your game blatantly put out for all to read, next time, use an invisibility potion that grants Major Expedition, and you'll get away much easier than using Rapid, Rapid is pretty bad to use as an escape mechanic unless you're a Stamina build and can spam it four or five times and CC break, and if you don't want to take this advice then use an Immovable Potion and hit Rapid, this way you can't be CC'd at all.
