Hey guys,
what really annoys me about IC is the fact I have to leave it via Cyrodiil instead of allowing me to port to Craglorn, Belkarth, a dungeon etc. when I am in my home base.
I do understand you want us to not TP out of anywhere in IC because we should have to fight our way back and that's fine. However, this approach is already rendered invalid as you may just switch from home to guest campaign to leave IC towards Cyrodiil at any point, no matter where you are.
But what is the point to force us to use a door out of IC sewers that lets us spawn right at Cyrodiils entrance just to use the wayshrine and port again when we want to leave the area entirely?
Especially with all the loading screen love we are experiencing since IC release I find it extremely annoying to be forced to face at least 2 loading screens (3 if I am up in a district because you cannot leave IC from there at all).
So please let us freely teleport (for the usual gold cost) from IC home base areas to any wayshrine, including the Cyrodiil ones to keep the possibility to go up to Cyrodiil directly.
In addition, make it possible to teleport to any wayshrine from a spawn zone in an IC district. This would reduce the amount of loading screens when I want to leave IC from a district from 3 to 1.
Best regards,
Legedric
You could conceivably change the [X] option to "Open Wayshrine Map".Imperial Sewers Exit
You are leaving the Imperial City. Where would you like to go?
- [E] Sewer Entrance
- [F] Cyrodiil Border Gate
- [X] Alliance Capital

Agreed. My pop-up suggestion has that as an option.Silverminken wrote: »1. if you are required to get to the sewer entrance to enter, you should leave the same way! How come you must find the entrance and then when you want to leave, you are somehow teleported back to you base camp in Cyrodiil?
This is mostly due to the queue. Since the dungeons are not part of the Campaigns, and thus not part of the population counter, you'd have to re-queue for the campaign to get back into IC. A parallel suggestion to my Sewer Exit pop-up is a Dungeon Exit pop-up which allows you to choose between going to your Alliance Capital, or joining your Home or Guest Queue.2. Why do you not end up in IC when leaving group dungeons?
Each IC is tied to a parent Cyrodiil I think for a couple of reasons. If the population counters were separate, you'd have to re-queue to get between them. That would result in a queue for Cyrodiil, then another queue for IC when you reach the door. There's also the Cyrodiil campaign bonuses that transfer through to IC. If the instances were separated, there would be no campaign bonuses while in IC.3. Why do population in IC count towards the total for Cyrodiil campaign?
Maybe not kicked out immediately, but only if they are killed. (This was how Darkness Falls worked.) If you manage to stay alive in the city, while the enemies are piling in, then you shouldn't be killed outright.4. Gated access should be in all campaigns, to encourage people to care at least a little about the campaign and owned resources. And just as with the scroll temple protective spell that stops people from getting the elder scrolls when not the access keeps to the gate is in enemy hands, people already inside IC should get kicked out (killed) if all home keeps are lost!
Brian said he would be looking into how this plays out. If it's still being exploited in the same way it was before, I'm sure they'll address that as well.5. Travel between campaigns, why is it that you are still allowed to roam into ANY campaign? all it takes is to have a group with various home and guest campaigns, and then you can move the entire group to a campaign? So now groups of players can jump into any campaign and overrun that campaign and then move to the next.
Yes. But OP never said they wanted to put wayshrines all over Cyrodiil. So there are lots of issues with travelling, wayshrines and the like when it comes to Cyrodiil. So why not fix the glaring stupid things first, before trying to change a PvP zone into PvE zones with wayshrines spread out over the entire map.
Pretty sure that doesn't work. You can't teleport in Cyrodiil. (If it does work, it's a bug.)miked83b14_ESO wrote: »Just pick someone on your guild roster and fast travel to them for free. Problem solved. Your welcome.

Did they change something? Because the last time I exited the sewers base toward Cyrodiil proper, I found myself at one of my faction gates, approximately a couple of meters away from the wayshrine... You can safe yourself a loading screen by being able to teleport out directly, but other than that I don't see the benefits of a change.

It.Doesn't.Work.
At least for me. When I click the "Travel to player" option I get the message on the top right telling me I can't use that option for the target.Did they change something? Yes you end up on a gate in Cyrodiil, please read the posts in this thread again...
I want to get rid of the loading screen fom IC into Cyrodiil when I want to leave Cyrodiil and the IC completely at that point.
