Question on day and night times

Hi,
Clock shows 2:20 pm, I'm collecting mats in Craglorn for writs and I can't see anything since day is very dark. There are even two mooons in the sky.
Happened the same to my gf, that was early in the morning but it was very dark in Craglorn.
In The Rift, sometimes it says 11:00 pm and the sun is rising.
Any ideas why?
