AlcastClass RepresentativeZOS nerfed them to the ground. All the DKs are too busy rerolling NBs.
I think DK is still fine, but now you either have to choose for a DD setup or a Tank and you cant really do BOTH at the same time anymore which was just ***. Tho there are still tanky DKs that pull quite OP dmg.

Dreyloch✭✭✭✭✭I play a stam DK and I'm not giving up. Not just yet. I'm trying to adapt.
When I came to this game I wanted to be much like the Berzerker I played in EQ2. A plate wearing duel wielding beast, that could switch to sword and board in a pinch to help a main tank. Granted this was PvE back then, but I didn't think it would be hard (turning out to be darn near impossible) to work in PvP with this game. BOY was I wrong.
So here I am, basically an NB in lots of leather using 2 daggers spinning to win cause I cant wear plate and sustain the *&^C%$
DW abilites. I wouldn't even care if I came in second behind NB's for DPS if I could wear plate and DW the way I wanted to.The 2H line hits very hard, no doubt. But it's slow and clunky and just doesn't work for me.
What's the other option? Going magikca. Uh, ok, but unless I'm wearing light armor there's truly no point. I played that way back in the day and really...if I wanted to be a robe wearing staff user, I would play a Sorc.
I think ZoS just doesn't really know what to do with DK's. They can't come up with unqiue skills and abilites that work well and synergize good with plate armor. So we're all stuck trying to adapt with medium and light, magicka and stam abilities, having no real path or gear sets that maximize our potential. This is why so many have given up and started to play other classes. I have a vr16 sorc, and a baby Templar. But I seriously love my DK. We just need ZoS to remove head from dark smelly hole."The fear of Death, is often worse than death itself"1
