As some of you might know I am here since the first January Beta back in 2014. I supported this game and brought at least 5 different friends into the game. They play with me and my GF every now and then.
I used to buy Game Time Cards from a local store. I found they were a great way for me to get access to the whole game without having to own or register a Credit Card. Which is of course as common in use in Switzerland, but not as common like in US. So that brings me to my Conundrum. Zenimax stopped producing Game Time Cards. That means in a few weeks my ESO plus Membership runs out. Which greatly disappoints me. Since I have no way, other than getting a credit card to get access to a subscription. Paypal registration is not possible, because the transaction screen on Paypal demands a credit card as well - even though I can top my Paypal account through other means. So what do I have left as option. To buy crown cards. They look cheaper, but I loose my Bonus mat farming ability and my other bonuses. Which I would like to keep. For obvious reasons.
It might be a breaking point for me. I never wanted to play this game for free. Or getting pay walled out of things. But I can surely demand that I am left with control over distributing my finances how I deem them fit. And not being forced into needing a credit card to make some necessary transactions.
I just hope you could implement some changes in how we are able to pay memberships through Paypal. A credit card shouldn't be mandatory to play your game.
Also I love the game and want to keep playing it for the next few years. I know I won't have any influence with my post. But please guys reconsider your strategy on the payment options.
Thanks for your time...
