People can zerg all day, killing one or two players at a time, and each person in that zerg can still get more stones than one person getting stones by themselves.
zerg = less chance of losing your stones. Even though the rate is slower, i'll take that over solo play any day.
But it's not just lower, it's non existent and frankly boring, because nothing to fight for big raids in IC. Zergs wants to fight other zergs. They want to farm big numbers, for maximum pay of. Not kill some solo'er once in a while for like 2 stones.
In was in a large raid, about 18 players for a while and totally felt like I was zerging IC hard. There's no interesting or rewarding gameplay available for teams of that size. Not enough enemies at the same spots to fight. Not much loot or stones.
Go solo or with 2-4 players and kill some mobs, you make ten times more stuff and stones in a minute.
The IC map is huge, while population caps are restricted, so full raids mostly end up running around empty maps trying to find opponents. After a while they get bored. I sort of expect IC to kill a lot of PvP guilds, since no action for full guild raids. While Cyrodiil, the map with objectives for larger raids, is going to be empty from now on.
Just as with DAoC, PvPers will get the gear they need and be done with IC in a couple weeks. And unless they make entrance rotate somehow, PvPers won't come in too much. Except the kitten kickers, who will live there to gank poor PvErs.
