ZOS You Need To Address Trap Beast

Maintenance for the week of September 28:
• No PC/Mac maintenance


You need to address Trap Beast ASAP, putting it off for another week I don't know how many players are going to take it, it's ruining all types of content. I hope you plan to hotfix it shortly but not wait another week for this. In PvP it's wiping out raids in PvE there are players kicking others from groups because they don't have it. There hasn't been much motivation to do competitive content and this is ruining it more and more.

I really hope you don't neglect this game breaking bug but jump to fix the next grind.

    It's not exploiting. If so then EVERYONE who used (in 1.6) undodgeble lava whip/concealed weapon/teleport strike or bugged dawnbreaker of smiting was exploiting. Sharpened maces too.

    It's a bugged skill yes, it's cheap yes. Exploit? No.

    Exploit was for example doublemundus or more munduses, werewolf+vampire same time.

    You're surprised by zos letting bugs stay for long periods? Lol

    Anything where you follow specific steps to do I consider an exploit especially when it gives you an infinite amount of damage output.

    They will "address" it by closing this thread like they have recently closed 3 others. The damage control game is very strong right now. The incorrect and extremely disingenuous reason for closing the thread will be "to prevent others from learning about this"

    This is complete guar dung.

    Just take a walk through the IC and you will "learn about this" in about 3 seconds. ZOS, you are past the point of damage control now. Its out of the bag. Just tell us when you are actually going to fix it and don't say soon.

    I have played this game since beta and seen PvP exploit after PvP exploit. You futilely and inconsistently censor threads begging for a fix well past the point where everyone knows something is a problem.

    Leave one thread on general forum and close all others. If not, people will just make more. Stop trying to sweep this under the rug.

    It didn't work for the caltrops bug.
    It didn't work for the purge bug.
    It didn't work for sharpened maces, flawless dawnbreaker, permabats, camping enemy wayshrines, so guess what

    ITS NOT GONNA WORK NOW>

    Actually what they need to do is buff other traps so that there's more of a balance and maintain all traps being deadly, because you know that's what traps do, kill.

    All these PVPers whining over something that's supposed to be deadly amazes me, it's supposed to keep you on your feet. that's what traps do. smh

    Well they disabled the skill
    Greetings, all.

    We have completed a hotfix across all megaservers where we temporarily removed the Minor Force buff from Trap Beast to address a bug where it was dealing more damage than intended. The ability is otherwise unchanged. A permanent fix for this issue will be in the next incremental patch.

    Yesterday my group of 15-16 were farming blues and reds at their sewer entrances for a good 30-45 mins each
    (since AP diminishes).
    You wanna know why they were only able to wipe us?

    Re-arming trap.

    It wasn't that they had twice of three times our numbers.
    Literally 20 re-arming traps doing 30k-50k. Both alliances.



    And no fix yet for another week :/
