Trader Bidding

I am just trying to figure out how much I should bid for a trader in a location like Daggerfall city on the Xbox one. I bid 100 gold thinking I would get a notification once I get bid over but I guess the system doesn't work like that and there is no way I can know what some one else has bid at the location. So what is a safe amount without going crazy over? Hoping to not spend more then 10-15k a week right now as the guild is fairly new.

It's blind bidding, you can try your 10-15k bid and you might get lucky. If you're just starting out a less sought after trader would be a better option.

I know the capitols and Craglorn are nuts figured Daggerfall would be easy enough cause its mostly newer players in the area. Any recommended locations?

Yeah I have no idea what to expect, my main PvP guild has been getting a Craglorn trader for around 175k and the trade guild I am a member in says they pay over a million in mournhold.

Don't know about Xbox, but a decent trader on the PS4 in a city is running into the millions now. The only trade guild I'm in that can consistently keep a trader is now bidding 2.5 million a week just to keep ours.

On a slight tangent here, but I have no idea why some guilds waste money obtaining a trader in a highly populated area that must cost them a lot. Some of the guilds I've seen in the major cities have next to nothing in their stores and what they do have is usually overpriced junk. Such as some white lvl 23 item priced at 10k.

I seriously doubt you're going to find a trader in any city for under 100K (probably more like 1 million+) anymore. You might have more luck with the obscure traders out on the roads. But if you're going to be a serious trade guild, 15K isn't going to cut it. You'll have to start charging dues and/or having weekly raffles if you want to maintain a decent trader in a city. Most of the better guilds are charging 3-5K a week in dues now (on the PS4 anyway, and I'm sure that's similar to the Xbox).

I just want to join a guild who will take my 3000 gold weekly donations and actually get a trader. I don't even care where. If anyone has an active one on XBox send an invite to THEDKEXPERIENCE.
