Scrolling Battle Text!

It is coming to consoles! (Skip to time: 29:37)

This is the best news I have heard through my time on this game, and I'm so excited for it. I played games like Runescape and WoW for over like 10 years off & on and I was so comfortable and used to seeing what damage I'm actually doing when I attack a target, so it's been like playing a game blind. It won't be flashy, it will just be basic and neat, so that's even better.

Still no dueling, still no arenas and battlegrounds, still no text chat chat on console and group finder still broken... It's a good step, but scrolling combat text is a feature that should have came at launch

I have a feeling that Arenas may come sooner than expected but who knows. I just can't wait to finally see my damage...

ZOS; "We don't want ESO to look like a casino."

They change their minds and add battle text.

ZOS; "Textchat doesn't work for living-room console playing."

When will they finally change their minds on this then?

You and your kind need to stop trying to turn every thread into a console txt chat debate. ZOS will give it to you when and if they feel like it

I am not "turning" this into anything.
I commented on ZOS changing their minds about game features.
If I would have used CP instead of textchat then somebody would have said the same thing you did about "turning" it into a CP debate thread.

I could very easily have added several other examples of things that need to change, or be adjusted.
They added Vet Ranks...they are removing Vet Ranks.

ANYTHING that a forum member compares to them adding battle text would/could be accused by "you and your kind" as "turning" a thread.

well I was like you in a way, "GIVE US TEXT CHAT" but now, I'm way more for Battle text than anything... I want to see those floating numbers from my Puncturing Sweeps

Truthfully...I want it ALL!

I want consoles to have all the "options" that PC add-ons allow PC players to have.
Most of the things that add-ons add to a PC game are usually already in a console game.
So, in my opinion, they really should be "options" for ESO.

And, I can't wait for battle-text to be added!
I hate not knowing how that "immune" notification actually is affecting my damage values.

I don't know why you expect those things. This game was advertised as AvA. I don't think small scale PvP (arena or BG) are on the agenda.

It would definitely make things way more interesting, but yeah I do hope that at least Scrolling Battle Text comes soon and not after next year or something.
