A lot of magicka just to keep a DK alive there.. maybe they should rephrase to Stamina DKs are in bad shape.Burning embers/Stone fist/Deep breath/Coagulating blood.
In conjuction with Igneous shield + a nice chunk of cp in Healing.
Have you any idea how much heal you can get from this all ?
In IC sewer I can take like ten mobs at the same time on my own with my health barely moving while perma blocking in light armor.
Now come tell me DK are in bad shape ...

Now in pvp with both of them stacked the buff is laughable, I can post pictures to prove how bad they are, if anyone is that delusional to say they can compete with the other classes.

Sorcs don't have any more class ones that Dk.
Spiked armour and thundering presence are sort of equal, but they're not strictly shields.
Hardened ward is better maybe.
But Dk self heal is probably better than sorcs conversion, plus Dk has reflective scale which is ridiculously good on pvp.

Igneous is awesome. Aside from a shield that scales off your health (good for a tank build) let's also give you a boost to your healing and stamina back and a buff plus an extra shield for your friends near you. Yes, all shields took a hit with the last patch, but if you build for the shield, it's still quite solid. There are still several tanky DKs running around cyro. And it's better than the shield of any other stamina class as well (hardened ward scales off magicka, NBs have no shield and Templar's blazing shield is much much shorter and doesn't offer the other buffs Igneous does).

Your one time anecdotal account of how you killed a Templar while you were battle leveled has completely convinced me that DK > everything else. I do find it strange though that the majority of the population rolls around as one of the more underpowered classes (NB). Maybe they are just being kind so its easier for the DK's to kill them. Less of a struggle that way
I've managed to get a 8.5K blazing shield in PvP. 17K if i add Boneshield.

It only cost me all my damage, healing, sustain and about 20K cash to reset my skills to return to a useful build.
(60K if you count the jewels i bought to bump up my HP a bit more)
Ain't no other way to get a decent shield on Templars.
I even need to use my healing ulti twice to get back to full health.
Not saying DK's have no right to complain, but at least you still have magma Armor.
My guess would be (as i don't play a DK) that that skill is one of the few skills (and the only ultimate) that isn't affected by that buff in PvP. Its not a shield, nor is it damage (not the main function at least) nor is it a heal. Meaning it dodges all 3 pvp nerfs. (but, as i said, its my guess, as i don't play a DK, or anything else besides a Templar.)
Both DK's and Templars are screwed because Sorcs have an OP mechanic. Sorc is OP > They nerf all classes by means of a special buff > Sorc is affected, but because everyone else is also affected it is as if nothing has happend to begin with (Besides that every class now has "double" its old HP bar.)
