Champion points and resource pools?

I constantly see people say that more champion points means higher resources hp mp stamina... I'm not seeing it I don't see a perk that does anything of the sort just ups penetration dmg and reduces skill costs ups recovery... where am I missing the connection? I got 422 cp and I'm just not seeing what I keep seeing mentioned

    Every CP in the red/blue/green constellations increases your respective ressource (health/magicka/stamina) by a small amount.

    If you spend points into Mage constellations (3 of them), your magic increases; for Warrior, your HP increases; and for Thief, your Stamina pool increases

    There are 3,600 CP possible.

    Please also consider that the CP system is meant to replace the vet system. So when Vet levels are removed, CP is how your character will progress.     So while 54% sounds like a big number, once vet ranks go away it really won't be.

    Also, to NOTE, while the formula is really close for the data we have, keep in mind 2 things:
    • Once Champion system goes live and we have more points to spend we might refine the formula. It's close, but with more data we can get closer.
    • Nothing is final yet. ZOS could change the formula before live or in a future update

    When I say "we" please make sure to give credit to @Faugaun for deriving the formula. I just collected the data he did the tough part. Thank you @Faugaun!

    Never mind the actual champion points and different constellations...

    Recovery was one thing and no adding points in I didn't notice it much

    Ok this is just the passives that effect resources...not the actual champion skills themselves...il get to those...

    Ritual - Last Stand - Grants Major Heroism when you fall below 20% health, increasing your ultimate gain by 3 every 1.5 seconds for 8 seconds. Can only occur once every 30 seconds.

    Apprentice - Arcane Well - Gives you a 20% chance when you kill an enemy of opening an Arcane Well, which restores X Magicka to you and any allies within 2.5 meters of the enemy.

    Apprentice - Foresight - Reduces the Magicka cost of your next spell by 80% after you drink a potion.

    Lover - Synergizer - Grants 2 ultimate any time you activate a synergy.

    Steed - Invigorating Bash - Gives you a 20% chance to restore X health when you bash an enemy.

    The Lady - Unchained - Reduces the stamina cost of abilities by 80% for 3 seconds after breaking free of a stun, knockdown, fear, disorient or stagger.

    The Lady - Critical Leech - After critically striking a target, restore X health. This can only occur once every 5 seconds.

    The Lady - Resilient - Restores X health when you are hit by a critical hit

    The Lady - Spell Absorption - Restores X magicka when you take magic damage equivalent to 30% of your health. This can only occur once every 10 seconds.



    Now these are the champion skills that effect resources, remember this does not include the skills that do more damage, heal more or other things, every time you do more heals, damage, block more, absorb more, reduce dots or snares etc etc etc you are saving resources and having to expend less resources...that does not even take that into effect as well....

    Warlord Reduces the stamina cost of spells and abilities by (0-15.8%)
    Magician Reduces the magicka cost of spells by (0-15.8%)
    Bashing Focus Reduces the stamina cost of bash attacks by (0-25%)
    Sprinter Reduces the cost of sprinting by (0-24%)

    Arcanist Increases your magicka regeneration by (0-25%)
    Healthy Increases your health regeneration by (0-25%)
    Mooncalf Increases your stamina regeneration by (0-25%)
    Tenacity Increases the amount of magicka and stamina your heavy attacks restore by (0-15.8%)

    Tumbling Reduces the stamina cost of roll dodge and break free by (0-18%)
    Shade Reduce the stamina cost of moving with in stealthy by (0-15.8%)

    Block Expertise Reduces the cost of blocking by (0-25%)

    And that is not even all the passives or even all the champion skills. There are tons that increase armor, spell resistance, reduce damage, dots, snares, increase healing, crits and many many many other things and they all contribute to not spending as many resources each time. There will be times where normally without champion points you would spend resources but because of champion points, you would not need to....

    Then add potions, food, drinks and bonus set triggers, skill triggers and other things....

    In combination with all of those you could easily get unlimited resources ....very easily...oh and don't forget ultimate...you will be able to spam that too...

    @OP yes the points themselves give stats, so mage constellations give max magicka, thief gives max stamina and warrior gives max health. Only the first 1000 points count though, the extra 200 for some reason do not give this buff.
