Better stats but same gear?

I'm confused as I have seen my friend who is wearing 3 agility, 5 hundings, 2 twice fanged snake swords, 1 molag kena, and a dead slot have 4.8k wep damage unbuffed. After that I am wearing 3 agility (2 weps and a necklace) 5 hundings, 3 shadow walker (2 bands 1 boots), and 1 molag kena. With all of this I only get 3.5k wep damage. Both I and my friend are khajiit nbs and his base wep damage without armor or weps is over 2x mine. When our totals were calculated we both had dawnbreaker on our bar and the 12% increase wep damage passive from med armor.

So my question is if you are your friends wear the same stuff is someone getting significantly better stats? Also is this a bug among beta accounts as his account was made in beta.

We both had the warrior mundas and he had 2 more wep damage enchants on vr16 jewelry than me but it does not account for the difference. Also we both have all purple gear.

Weapon damage enchantments and his 2 swords is all I can think of assuming you both have the same number of Mage points into mighty.

He runs poison and disease enchants on his weapons. Also mighty only accounts for damage on abilities not wep damage.

Do y'all have the same number of weapon damage set bonuses and Max stamina set bonuses cause y'all don't run 100% matching sets

They are not the exact same, due to level difference and things in general, but it does not nearly account for the huge difference. 1.8k wep damage does not come from 1 or 2 more wep damage bonuses.

Well whats your level and his level?

I noticed you said without armor or weapons he bad a very high base stats. He wasn't in Cyrodiil and you not by chance?

If things are different with armor on and weapons, remember the effects of stats are exponential. So a very small amount of differences can accumulate into a big effect.

Outside of that I have no ideas.

There could be many things that can accumulate to that big difference.

Was he in sneak?
Does he have more armour pieces with divines than you?
Do you both have the dw passives skilled and the same weapon type equipped?
Did you have any active effects? (e.g. a dk casting his shield 25m away from your friend)

We are both vr16 he was in spindle so now you see my dilemma lol

We both had no active effects sneak does not amount to that much and he was next to me not sneaking. Also we both had 2 swords equipped.

What about your stat allocations? did the other NB put a lot of stats into stamina while you put them somewhere else? that will cause a gap. also, not sure about this but can CP also boost damage in addition?

CP has no effect on weapon damage if you read the tool tip and I have tested it. Also increasing your max stamina does not increase your wep damage. His wep damage was 1.8k higher for no logical reason. Most passive, buffs can not even account for that difference.

4.8k weapon damage isn't possible with that build, its that simple. The only 2 builds that can hit them kind of numbers is one utilising molag kena 2 set buff, or the hundings + ravanger build.

No offence, but if he's saying he has 4.8k with them sets, he's speaking c#@p.

There is your answer right there,

How many CP's do you both have and are they placed in identical constellations?

Probably find that he has more CP than you and differently spread across constellations,

May be he is using bugged addon for stat's display smth like obsolete caps meter.

We did find out that his account was diplaying improper values in the character menu but it is still 1.4k more wep damage than mine. So he is probably good now unless customer support left something unfixed.

Gear is the only thing in the game effecting wep damage CP does not.

They may have different attributes and passive skills. Also the quality may vary. You can wear same level gear as someone but you can also add traits and enchants to them. As well as attribute differences.

Yea I know this, but he was bugged but even after fixing his numbers he was still way higher than me quality and traits were the same and enchantments did not make up the difference.

My guess is he has 3.8k buffed and added a 1 to sound cool.
